Currently, the Bucks are sporting a 108.8 O Rating, 10th best in the league, and that's without Monroe/Jabari contributing really anything, and Middleton shooting 27% from 3. Granted, Brogdon is shooting 49% from 3 and Snell is shooting 54% from 3, so that will all normalize. The D is 29th in the league. Will better on ball pressure from Bledsoe significantly change the dynamic of the defense? Or will the lack of interior D and rebounding make it irrelevant?

Got to give Bolomboy a look at least. We need literally zero usage out of our center offensively.

Be curious to hear your thoughts on how the D is different now from 14 - 15 when Bucks were 4th in D eff.

The D might not have changed, but the league figured it out.

I'd have interest in Brice Johnson for Willie Reed too.

I'd take any of the 3 bigs from them.

I like all 3 of those guys for the bucks especially Noel. Only problem is since he signed his qualifying offer, whatever team that trades for him will not retain any bird rights to re-sign him next year. Makes it unlikely he re-signs with the bucks

I think Dedmon is the best option out of those three and I think he's probably easiest to get with how bad the Hawks have been.

He'd give Thon too many problems in practice like he did in summer league.

Horst on the Bill Michaels Show right now.

I gotta say, Michaels has to be one of the worst/laziest interviewers. He just asks questions while typing on a computer and then doesn't expand upon a question once it gets answered. He just moves along to the next question. Just seems super scripted and awkward.

I feel like a lot of us keep bringing up Noel without addressing this. He's not an option without bird rights.

Yes to Dedmon. I wonder if they would take DJ, Vaughn and a 2nd? I don’t think Dedmon can be traded until January.

It is a mystery to me how a hack like that can carve out a (probably nice) living doing radio. He is incredibly unkowledgeable, bombastic and just plain stupid.

He is a stain upon our fair city.

Is it? He is a starting center that is serviceable and signed on the cheap. He has some value, even if he wasn’t a bug FA pickup. Dude put up 19 and 12 two nights ago.

DJ, Vaughn, and a 2nd are all pretty much worthless trade pieces.

Come on, this is silly. Wilson isn’t a worthless trade piece for more reasons than one.

I wouldn't call him worthless, but I'd sure as hell trade him for Dedmon or someone of his ilk.

I agree Wilson is worthless but I didn't draft him. I'd be a lot more excited about his future as a Buck if I had drafted him, and was excited about him at the time if the draft.

It is Luke23, queen of hyperbole. Dedmon has value, but is on a weird 2-year contract. He is like a mini Monroe, in that Atlanta has house money to trade him for developmental players. I don’t really see him fitting into their long term plans, but maybe they want to take flyers on guys who could develop.

DJ is a complete wildcard based on his strength development, and Vaughn is likely nothing, but is still young as well.

I would be curious to hear what players from other teams could be exchanged for Dedmon, to see how people think he is valued.

I don't really think it's hyperbole. I'd throw that package out there for probably several dozen available players and feel very little risk associated with the move. Vaughn has had near league-worst metrics through his first 2+ years. Wilson had below average/pedestrian college production (as a junior mind you) and really has no standout NBA quality in addition to not being able to rebound. Those 2 and a 2nd for Dedmon is an easy decision. Wilson's ceiling is probably rotation player. Vaughn has a better chance at being out of the league than being a rotation guy.

Dedmon is 28 and can become a free agent after this season if he chooses. That trade would help us this season but he's not going to help us win a championship. At least Wilson has a chance to help this team eventually win a championship. The worst thing the Bucks could do is trade away future assets to try to win now. Need I remind everybody that Giannis is 22.

I am perfectly content biting the bullet at center and playing a rotation of Henson/Thon/Giannis/G-League scrub all season and going after somebody in the offseason. If we trade assets for somebody, have it be a player who will be here for a while.

I guess that's true if you assume that Wilson is actually worth something. I'll be amazed if he's ever a rotation player. I'd be happy to trade him for 1 year of Dedmon.

O Quinn is a great fit. I too like Dedmon but I don't think he can be traded yet.

seems like you should have to give up that much if anything for a guy who's going to be a FA on a team that is soon to hit tank mode and for a guy that the trading team will not have bird rights so is likely to lose him. Toss them a 2nd and if they go for it, great.

Ideally I think you'd want someone in their 2nd or 3rd year nt being given a chance on their current losing team, so you have some upside and long term possibility. Kings should be a target area
Resident Lillard truther since 2015.
