The best part about Thor was that all of the new characters were pretty incredible and the game felt like a video game movie - i.e. it didn't try to take itself seriously like the past two Thor iterations. Korg, Grandmaster and Valkyrie were all great additions and I instantly had more of a connection to them than the Warriors Three. Goldblum and Waititi **** brought their A games to their parts. Even melting stick lady had a couple of laughs.

ETA: Tessa Thompson is incredibly attractive.

Yeah, it's easily the best Marvel film they have made in a long time. It might be my favorite Marvel film, period. Taika Waititi did a really good job translating his humor to the comic book realm without it seeming out of place.

If you like Tessa Thompson, she was great in "Dear White People." I highly recommend that movie.

Just finished Stranger Things 2 and gat damn, that was great.

On a side note, I got to be an agent from Hawkins Lab, which was a blast. In the one really front-and-center shot of me I'm holding a camera in front of my face, but I'm still visible in other spots if you look closely.

Finally got around to seeing "The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete" based on some recommendations. Good movie, but the writing was kind of ehhhh :reporter:

Yeah, even as someone who hasn't watched pro wrestling religiously since I was a kid, it was remarkably well done. You don't see many athletes open themselves up as completely as he did in those interviews.

That was a great 30/30. It could have easily gone on for 3 hours. The guy admits he was a terrible husband and father and yet got married 4 times lol. And he's engaged. His first son ripped him on the show but they didn't go into how he's also a pro wrestler.

Really interesting show. Those guys were premier entertainers, with egos to match. So it was pretty cool seeing the respect he got from the other guys, even Hulk.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I found most of the jokes in Thor to be unfunny. Liked Guardians of the galaxy 1 and even that recent spiderman movie much more in terms of humour.

Btw anyone know if mindhunter on netflix is worth watching?

I didn't think so. A few people here shared that sentiment. Just never seemed to go anywhere.

I went and saw Thor again last night. 3D is outstanding if you have a good local theater.

I am not one to go to movies multiple times, especially the same week.

Just wanna bump this and say thanks to you all for turning me on to 'The Good Place'. Just finished season 1 and am going to start season 2 tonight. Such a great show on so many levels. The setup is unlike anything I've watched. Really enjoying.

Finally watched the Ric Flair doc. It was really good, though it was certainly uncomfortable in many respects to hear about how terrible he was outside of the ring. I will also say that Triple H is kind of a douche, but we already knew that.

Saw a couple of cool videos involving Flair and pro athletes

I watched the Little Women movie Sunday and I actually thought it was one of the better, more true-to-the-book movies I've seen in a while.

I'll see myself out.

Susan Sarandon and Winona Ryder. Of course it left a lot out - all movies do - but it felt like the book.

Pretty mixed reviews on JL. Seems the biggest criticism is Warner Bro's mandate to keep it under 2 hours and it really made the movie suffer from a story/editing stand point.

I'm waiting for it to be out on Blu Ray to see it.

That's a huge problem for them though considering it's one of the same exact problems BvS and MoS suffered from.

If you made a movie that can't tell a story properly without the 3 1/2 hour directors cut you made a **** movie
