It would be nice if Book had some help, possibly win MVP by 22 like D-Rose did.

He's never played with a PG who was a natural passer or shooter, that's going to give him and the team an extra dimension when it happens.

One man show with no help. He is more efficient; so glad I don't have to hear those complaints any longer.....for the time being.

JJ will be ready is a few years, other than that, everything else is up in the air.

Updated numbers under Triano. For some reason BR isn't letting me use Streak Finder...

Hmmm. He is so close to that so exclusive. 50, 40, 90, 5, 5 club.

I've been critical of devin because of his efficiency and d but major hat tip to him so far this season. The increased efficiency is **** awesome and he's at least trying on d. I couldn't be happier to eat a little crow.

Inefficient 1 dimensional player who can't pass, dribble or defend. He also has no athletic ability. Poor mans JJ Reddick/Michael Redd. Or so I'm told anyway.

When Warren went out last game, Booker's D fell a bit. He got exposed a few times on backdoor cuts. And didn't light up the scoreboard with assists or rebounds. Needs to get back to doing all 3 along with his improved efficiency.

Foul trouble was more of a factor than Warren....although Warren was a factor in assists and Mike James house of bricks.

The whole NY game we reverted back to old Suns, maybe it was tired legs 4 travel games in a week.

Booker likes playing against Spurs, hopefully if he is the focal point he can find the open man as Spurs defense will collapse on him.

This was interesting to me. Booker's road stats are very comparable to his home stats. This season is a bit skewed since we only just got better under Triano and we've only played 2 games at home since.

Rookie season
Road: 14.3ppg/2.4rpg/3.0apg .537TS%
Home: 13.3ppg/2.5rpg/2.2apg .532TS%

Sophomore season
Road: 22.7ppg/2.8rpg/3.0apg .530TS%
Home: 21.6ppg/3.5rpg/3.8apg .537TS%

This season
Road: 27.0ppg/4.0rpg/3.6apg .647TS%
Home: 19.0ppg/6.5rpg/4.5apg .504TS%

I expect his road stats to come back down to Earth a bit while his home stats to get better.

Ever since San Antonio gave Booker fits in terms of creating his shot, Brooklyn followed by sending Caris LeVert and DeMarre Carroll at him all game. It worked, and now interim head coach Jay Triano has to find a solution. He seems to know already what that is, and we could go back to seeing Point Booker a lot more over the coming weeks.

Under Watson that just lead to more bad shots, but Triano spoke about it being as much about being a facilitator in the same way as Harden draws the defense, so as long as there's the right mix of scoring and passing out.

Booker-Jackson-Warren-Bender-Len
At least try this. Probably our best possible lineup.

That's the Booker we want to see in the future. Not Devin 'Kobe' Booker which Watson was trying to develope

Often times there are people in management positions that have no perception to obvious human reactions that are in front of them. We have seen this time and time again with this front office, Dragic is promised keys to PG position then we bring in Bled and IT, Dragic requests trade, IT traded for number of reasons. Then he trades Marcus and is surprised Markieff asks for a trade none of us were surprised when this happened and most called it when Marcus was traded. Then Bledsoe gets shut down after years of losing on this team and listening to trade rumors, and yet they are surprised he asks for a trade, so much that the prime opportunity in the off season came and went and we missed out.

Next on the list? Will be Booker wanting out or leaving. I don't care how much he says he loves it in PHX and wants to stay, the human reaction to this situation as we have seen with many players recently, is that he will bail for a better team.

Moral of all this, stop treating players like chess pieces and assets, yes this is a business, but these are still people and they will react to the **** you do to them.

I wouldn't blame Booker one bit if he left tomorrow. First three years in the league, two coaches fired, multiple trade requests, competitive players and bonafide nba talent traded away for these draft picks with potential. I as a fan don't have any faith in this management anymore, forget being a player who has the option to get paid in a bigger market and play for a better team.
