"Next on ESPN: Jarred Dudley with a solid game off the bench... will he follow Bledsoe's lead and be the next to demand a trade out of Phoenix?"

Part of tanking is having the majority deluded enough to still follow the team like we do.

Those first 4 wins need to be put into our HoF as that was the best week we'll have in probably 6 years.

He needs to be held accountable, if he is on the floor for 10 and 13 mins and plays like **** why should he get rewarded with more minutes?

To get better!!! You correct him then go out there and play. You don't sit him on the bench... if a kid messes up on the field, I'll call him over and tell him what he did wrong and send him back out there, I don't sit him down for the rest of the game!! You are just as bad a coach/teacher as Jay.

I want one of Doncic, Bagley, Porter, Ayton, Bamba, and have been on that bandwagon since last season ended. Just because you don't like it, and people in your shoes want to call me a "fake fan" doesn't make it so. I follow this team every bit as much as any of you all and just happen to disagree with what the best path forward is. You all get to sit here and complain about not winning now. Why can't I celebrate when the team gets closer to what I am hoping to get out of the season?

Because it's annoying and doesn't lead to any kind of constructive contribution to a conversation.

It's annoying to you, just like reading the constant and opposite drivel the win now crowd spouts is annoying to me and the other half of the board. Pot meet kettle.

I am happy for this loss. It moves Miami closer to out of the bottom 7, and improves our odds of getting a top 5 pick. If your expectation is that this team contend for the playoffs, then my honest recommendation is to get realistic, and stop getting mad at those of us who think we need a top talent to move forward, and preferably one on a rookie deal from the draft.

Honestly, winning this year is not realistic. The team is too raw, has had 0 training camp due to a yoga coach, and is not developed enough to begin with before you factor in that we have the toughest projected SOS in the entire league this season. Prepare to be miserable, or accept the major positives that can come from this, which is a top pick and young players getting PT/developing. I am choosing not to be miserable this year. And I will be here damn near every game since I am a real fan, and I will root for whatever objective I want regardless of any of your issues with it.

Why in the world didn't they take Dellavedova if they knew they weren't going to keep Monroe?

Yeah. There's a balance here that has to be towed. You can't let Chriss get away with not playing D because he didn't get the ball on the other end. You also can't let Jackson get away if he does the same. I like that Triano actually benches them instead of taking him to dinner to tell them how much he loves them or having a hot yoga session. Jackson is a tough kid. He'll figure it out.

Thank you. And let's not even talk about Tyler Ulis.... Josh plays 4 mins on the bench then he plays 4 mins and on the bench again......wtf?!?

Tyler plays like garabage all game and continues to play, same with Chriss..

I'm leaning towards getting a veteren star this off-season, Booker is already looking annoyed every game.

Since when did I care about winning games this year? There's a difference between losing games while making positive progress and losing while playing like complete garbage. This was garbage. So, no celebration from me and saying "good game". You want to pair another high pick with a bunch of other high picks so that next year can be the same exact thing and so on and so on. It's funny that our two best young players were end of the lottery picks and not top picks, but a top pick is obviously the only way to get anything of worth.

They don't want the long-term salary, and they are trying to give minutes to the youngsters. If you take Delly, then Ulis's minutes are gone. I think they'd rather see what James and Ulis show the rest of the year. Also, I think we should really give Book more minutes as the PG on offense in a Harden role given the draft class coming up. All are the size of 3-5s at the top, so our best lineup in the future may be Book at the 1 on offense with Jackson guarding the 1s on the other end.

I think we address PG with the Miami pick, which may be mid-late lotto (I don't think they are quite the lock for the playoffs as some others do). There will be a couple of good options there.

It's strange not having a good point guard on this team. That needs to change.

I don't think it was garbage. Booker played well. Bender played well. Most of the weakness was from Len and James, who are not exactly the priority development-wise. Warren showed flashes. Chriss hit some 3s. I would like Jackson and Ulis to be playing better, but overall we lost a close game to a team that is much more structured and developed with a great coach. How is that garbage exactly?

Absent a trade for Schroeder (and I still am skeptical he is really on the table), I don't see that happening until the draft. I could see us also go after Lavine or Payton, but I am not a huge fan of Payton for the salary he will probably command, and Lavine probably gets matched by Chicago even on his eligible max.

There will be some good PGs available with that Miami and maybe even the Mil pick. I think that's the most likely outcome. Schroeder would probably be pretty pricey assetwise, and I'd rather hold those in case Porzingis actually does want out in a year.

Also, while Triano has impressed me given the situation he is in, this team won't win until it grabs a great coach. I still am a fan of Messina if we can grab him. I would consider trading real assets for Budenholzer if Atlanta really wanted to blow it all up also.

This team is bad. I'm done watching and posting until Jackson is playing. Dudley Warren Chandler Ulis Chriss James and Sauce all make me want to vomit.

If Booke Bende and Jackson aren't the main guys eff this squad. I'll wait until next year and if they draft a "stud" and play him 10 mins a game....I say eff em again. We suck, play Jackson, give us some type of peek into the future......

Or get Okafor. I'll record all games and watch the box score. If Jackson didn't see at least 24mins....delete!

Talk with you guys when Jackson and Bender are getting some real burn....peace.

It was insanity. This team had a rush from the firing but that was never going to last. We are in the toughest West in a long time with the youngest team in the West and the worst coach in the NBA through the offseason and training camp. And our best player was sitting out about to be traded. It was never going to last.

Yea we saw how that worked under Watson, he let Chriss start last year and get all the minutes he wanted. Doesn't look much better to me.

The worst part of this season is that we're awful but there's 4 other teams that will be worse.

I said the same thing about Goodwin, sure, Goodwin couldnt shoot and he was tunnel vision most of the time... but with minutes... he put up good numbers.

Booker too.

Now, Jackson is a star college player and he has shown elite skills that can be developed.

If it took 5 years and a mature Jimmy Butler to get it... then Jackson should be given atleast 2-3 seasons and of course proper development and usage.
