Dunigan is one of those dudes who will never sniff an NBA game but seems like he's really fun to watch at the G-league level. Game of this life tonight, 24 & 10 on 6-7 FG, 12-15 at the line in 27 minutes. Could see him making an impact in Europe.

Bolomboy is back up with the Bucks

The Herd are down 88-48 :-o to start the 4th quarter. GP2 is playing, James Young is not. The honeymoon was nice while it lasted.

It's pretty obvious when they're in the same backcourt how much better Xavier Mumford is than GPII. Last night Mumford goes for 31, 6 & 6 on 4-5 from three, 10-18 from the floor. Peyton goes 5-14, 0-4 from three, 11 points, 3 assists & 7 rebounds.

How do you factor in Payton's 'Bucks DNA' into these lines? I've got a new algorithm I'm playing with whereby, though at face value Payton's line is unimpressive, it augments Payton's RPM by a factor of 20. It's remarkable what these blood markers can do in the analytics game. :o

Scouting report wise, how does Mumford defend at a NBA level? He sounds pretty intriguing so far.

Didn't we have someone on staff to assess this? Clearly Payton has the face of a winner.

Munford carries such a heavy offensive load that it's tough to say how his defense would be altered in a more concentrated NBA role, but he does have quick hands & feet and gets into the passing lane. Doesn't have great size & is somewhat slight, so I could see bigger guards giving him problems. He's quick enough where he shouldn't be terrible if the effort is there.

He's just smooth, a big balls bucket getter.

having only watched one herd game, munford immediately stood out.

i hate gp2's game. i dont see a future for him unless he becomes a dead dick shooter and we find a new coach who doesnt let him touch the ball on offense except for standing in the corner. he shows no bbiq on offense. no vision whatsoever, and his handle isnt that great. youd think those things can be improved upon, but i dont think his vision ever gets better.

gpii shows flashes from time-to-time. He's a pretty damn good defender when he's locked-in but, man, his vision is paltry; his handle is loose and unreliable; and his shot is just not suitable for the modern game. In other words, he has no business occupying a 2-Way. Munford is a far superior candidate. Just a superior player and PG in every respect but he lacks that coveted Bucks DNA aspect of length and a relationship to Jason Kidd. You can not tell me with a straight face the fact gpii is Gary Payton's son has no direct influence on the Bucks keeping him as a prospect. It is what it is.

This Friday seems like a good game for Wilson & Brown to get some run with the Herd. The team debuts at "home" in Milwaukee & the Bucks are off. They could meet the team in Dallas the next day to collect their DNPCDs or stick around in MKE for the back to back. Friday we have the Bulls, Saturday the Red Claws.
