I'm wondering if Illusion is actually J-Kidd? Clearly hates that they got a 6'1-6'2 PG (while ignoring his massive wingspan), you know, even though the whole league revolves around these types. Factor in taking shots at Horst and generally poor writing and maybe it's him. Maybe we could flip Bledsoe and get Vasquez or MCW back, they're 6'6.

Horst has been far better than expected. The guy is clearly not afraid to shake as evidenced with the Bledsoe trade and being involved in potentially trading for Kyrie.

I like that he's been aggressive. What will define his tenure is how he handles the smaller moves to fill out the rotation. His comment from his interview with Velazquez saying they're not in a hurry to fill Monroe's void with a big man is a little bit concerning, unless they just plan on running with Giannis at center and upping the tempo a ton.

Bledsoe trade and Jabari non-signing are the two moves we can put on Horst. Dare I say it, both are...good?

I'll give Horst **** if/when he makes a dumb move that wastes the promising core that he inherited. He hasn't done that yet.

I've got no complaints about Horst. I'm not crazy about the Bledsoe trade, but I'm certainly willing to see how it works out in the next 70 games or more. Same with the Wilson pick. I think it was terrible, but at the same time recognize I could certainly be wrong. All of his moves have logical reasons behind them so far.

I just have no idea how the decisions are being made, is it 80% LED/Kidd and 20% Horst? Decision by committee? Very annoying

I think, in you want to be fair, you have to say/assume Horst is in charge of decision-making.

Horst has totally exceeded expectations. I was nervous he would come in and feel the need to "look good" and make some short sighted moves to boost his resume that ultimately wouldn't be good for the long term success of the team. He signed Snell at market value, didn't cave with the Jabari negotiations which was/is the right thing to do, didn't jump the gun on the Bledsoe trade and was able to not include Brogdon or Thon and protected the first round pick very wisely.

If Hammond was still here, we'd likely have Jabari locked in to a 5 year/$100M extension, Snell making an extra $3M a year, and acquired Bledsoe for Brogdon and an unprotected 1st.

Nah just do what people have been doing. Blame Kidd for the bad moves and credit Hammond and now Horst for the good ones. All this 45/20/20/15 stuff is too confusing.

You're right, but my head is telling me Horst isn't the one making final decisions. Tough to imagine everything coming down to him

We are 4-6 with a top 3 player in the league, I think it's ok to rip Horst.

Dumping the contracts is hard, but firing and hiring a new coach should be easy. How many coaches can we think of that would come out of retirement to coach Giannis? Jeff Van Gundy? I think they are going to wait til the end of the season. We are just gonna have to wait and deal with it.

My heart wants to believe that Jon Horst is the Bucks' version of David Stearns. "Kid Genius" if you will. My brain, however, remembers the f**kery that was the GM search process. But, yeah, I'm sure Mr. "Reluctant Compromise" himself has more clout in the war room with LED than Jason Kidd.
