Seattle better score a T.D. cause I have no faith in Blair Walsh.

Does anyone in the NFC West believe in ever throwing on 1st down besides the Rams?

Okay. End Thursday night games. You're killing the players for league money. What an injury riddled game.

Seahawks win, but it cost us our future HOF cornerback, and several other injuries. We better hope that Snead can return soon.

What a bloodbath tonight's game was. Did they run out of EMT's on the field?

Thursday night games have to be gotten rid of. The only way they should ever be played is if both teams had a bye week the week before. I can't believe the NFL players union didn't look out better for their players about this.

They make too much money off TNF to end it. If they do anything it'll be to add an extra bye for teams before they play it.

Damn seven injuries in one game?!?! SEVEN!!!???
Which DB´s are available? A returning Byron Maxwell?

It seems the Vikings could be the first team with homecourt advantage in the SB... 1st time I´ll root for the Eagles

That play was really made by Baldwin and the AZ defender falling down. Seattle's penchant for lucky plays like that is truly amazing though. You'd think at some point they would run out.

I agree 100%.

I understand why Thursday, but if you want to combine getting the NFL on a different day with player safety, make it Friday or Saturday. I rarely watch an entire Thursday game anyways because I have to go to work the next day and they don't end until nearly midnight.

I say screw NCAAF and go for Saturday night. It's easy enough to have multiple TVs or go to a sports bar so I don't think it'd be that big of a conflict with NCAAF.

Let's face it, football is a brutal game. These player's body's simply need time to recuperate from the punishment they undergo in an NFL game. This is before you even get into things like the limited time teams have to assess the previous week's game, and to strategize for the next. It's a prescription for both injuries that might be avoided and poor play due to lack of preparation.

I would guess that the player's union is going to address this issue heavily at the next collective bargaining meetings.
