No I dont think so.
Fine coach would hold the 10 point lead in first. Too much switches also hurted us from the start.
Bad rotations..

And good coach would convince WB to back off. He played Felton but he couldnt make WB to give the ball to Felton.
WB continue his horrible performance.

I’m telling you bro! Westbrook doesn’t know how to play without the ball in his hands. I’m not sure even Pop or Stevens could get to him. I think he would definitely clash with a hard-nosed coach. Just imagine Westbrook’s personality towards reporters sometime. He’s stubborn. He’s a bit of a narcissist. That’s hard to coach for anyone.

This team (coach and players) is developing some pretty bad habits down the stretch in games. I’m not sure I see that changing with the current cast of characters.

Didn't watch. Don't want to watch highlights. Don't even care, knew I'd be disappointed. Can't even stick up for them anymore.

Yeah, I just don’t see how we get better. This team needs a coming to Jesus meeting and someone needs to call out Russ and it needs to be PG and Melo for real. Russ gone fight somebody if that happens LMAO.

What record warrants major re-think of something or lots of things? 5-10? 7-15?

I think this is a 10 pt win if you had a backup C. Got killed on the boards and in the paint when Adams is not in. Only reason why DEN hung around.

On offense, what is the 2nd action after the defense shuts down the PnR? Can't just be a Russ one on one. Run PG off a curl or something. Anything

Is it any coincidence that the Wizards (who are coached by Scott Brooks) are near dead last in passing?

There has NEVER been a system in OKC. With either coach. And it makes things 10x harder when you’ve been trotting out offensive liabilities for nearly a decade.

Saw the score in the 2nd half, and assumed it was just bad offense.

OKC moved beyond "developing" into "developed' some time ago.

Going into the game, he was shooting 30% from the field, 29% from 3.

Went 1-4 FG & 1-3 3PT.

Perhaps I should have put bargain in parentheses to be more obvious.

Our 2018 first round pick from Jazz to Minny is lotto protected till 2020. So if we can keep this up we can have our own pick!
http://www.nbadraft.net/2018mock_draft

Our current standing is 14 and possible draft pick is Nick Richards. He may become a good backup center in 2-3 years.

The same thing was said about Scott Brooks. Common player is WB. You can't coach a team with this type of point guard.

Brooks has some limitations. Good buddy coach but he cant do necessary adjustments on the floor.
Its not like WB couldnt work it out with D'antoni, Phil, Pop, D.Rivers, G.Karl type coach.
Brooks and Donovan. Both viewed as subpar around the league and fans.

+WB is staying. You cant change WB in the equation so lets go with Donovan.

I would rather call this another stroke of genius from Presti foreseeing our demise early and putting lotto protection on traded pick.

Who would have thought OKC would be a lottery team 3 years later?

Return to Oklahoma City Thunder
