My understanding is players are voted in/selected for ASG the old way...only after do the "Captains" choose up sides. Captains do not get to choose who is an All-Star (I hope...anybody would pick all their homies)

I think we don't (yet?) have the star power but IF the Magic go on a tear (like they started), there is a shot for 1-3 of them. Even if Elf went absolutely nuts, PG position is just too stacked, but the three listed are unlikely, but possible. If AG keeps hitting 3's and the return of EP keeps AG on the daily top 10 plays and in the national media...it's possible. Would be fun...definitely a factor of wins, for the Magic, to even get consideration.

Atlanta won 60 games that year (something that Orlando has only done once) and 3 of their 4 all stars had a previous big time snubbing, and that was a pretty weak all star team as a lot of older generation guys were fading and the current crop of guys were entering their primes- Wall, Butler Irving etc.

As starters no chance. AG and Evan especially if they can keep up this level of play and better yet increase it have outside shots to make it as reserves. AG has the edge I think of those two.

Before the season started, I really hoped for Hezonja to be an All Star this year :noway:

Wasn't Vooch already snubbed 2 years ago? yeah no one really noticed I guess.

And 1 for G.O.A.T. sig

Barring a huge collapse, the coaches will put Gordon in. He's a Top 20 player in the league this season and is having a better year than Blake Griffin.

Only naive fans would let that bother them.

1) We’re 8-3. Indy is 6-7.

2) AG is 22. Dipo 25.

3) We have 4 players averaging 15+ ppg. Dipo’s top side kick is Thad Young at 14.6.

Summary: Dipo is older, more experienced and playing hero ball on a lesser team. Of course his stats are going to be impressive. If they continue to hover around the .500 mark he is likely to make the All-Star game over our guys who are doing great but playing more of a team game.

I think Vooch and AG have the best shot, but the Magic have to keep on winning for that to happen.
