He's playing Saturday so I'm sure it's just scar tissue pain in there that will go away over time.

Until the amputation comes

Keith Pompey is just as confusing as sixers management. I'm done worrying about every report on Embiid's health. I expect to see him at the warriors game...

Embiid’s knee isn’t a problem anyway. People forget that he only has one injury that is a really big deal and that was his navicular fracture. The knee was a run of the mill common basketball injury.

I hate to read about pain, but this isn’t a big deal to me.

No. We can beat them. We can beat anyone with Embiid. He just needs to play smarter and less selfishly.

I love that the best team in the world is being asked about their thoughts on a Simmons and Embiid.

We are on the map.

Jojo need counters.

Like I said before, there are guys who has the size to deny him like Whiteside and Gobert. He needs to play X style against Y players and Y style against X players.

Against the Kings, he was successful when he was playing physical against thinner WCS and smaller Zach. But when he tries to play finesse by shooting over them or driving, his shot gets heavily challenged. Id guess these guys gets in position quicker with quicker hands.

Another counter is realizing to give it to Ben or Fultz when they have favorable match-ups or running a two man game to create favorable match-ups or separation.

LASTLY, he needs to be more emotionally strong. He talks trash or gets rejected but if that doesn't go his way then he needs to act like nothing happened.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

Embiid's knee is probably just sore because he is carrying too much wait and needs to get in game shape. If he's at 280 I'd honestly like to see him eventually end up down at 265ish. He needs to be lighter to protect him feet and knees.

I think part of his struggles is physical condition and partly youth/inexperience. He'll be fine as the season moves on.

I'm getting a little tired of the "he's out of shape" excuse. He's not THAT out of shape. He may be some, but with the way that is being used, you'd think the guy was 50 pounds overweight. I don't think the ratio of his conditioning to his play is proportionate to what is being let on.

I mean, let's face it. The guy looks LIGHT YEARS away from being able to do this:

Being a little out of shape doesn't create this level of a discrepancy from this season to last. He's either playing lazy or his knee is bothering him.

If I'm not mistaken, Embiid got progressively more athletic as the season went on and he got his legs under him. I figure this might be a similar situation. Or at least I hope so.

I hope so too, but I don't see how in one month, he can go from what we're seeing now to that. It's like a completely different person.

Another one:

He's not even in the same universe of being able to do this right now.

Something is wrong with him physically. I don't know if it's the knee, the weight, or a combination of the two. He isn't the same athlete he was last year.

The only logical reason at this point is that the "knee soreness" is a little bit more than just a sore knee.

He moves around out as freely as 39 year old Dirk looked when we played Dallas.

Very pedestrian performance against a front Court match-up that favored him. He seriously looked like a 40 year old man.

Did they remove the meniscus or repair it?

He's playing with little energy, just plodding along.

I guarantee something will come up and he'll sit out the next game.
