Why you can't throw 5 strangers out there and call it a team. You can't call out every defensive move and switch; that's where familiarity and trust come in. You can go for the steal because you're sure someone's got your back. You can jump into the switch knowing your teammate already has. That split-second hesitation is deadly.

DJ clogging up the post for Blake is more problematic. He used to camp out at the top of the key and play pick'n'roll with CP. Now he has no job. He's down under 10 ppg and his FG% is down from 71% to 57%. He's getting nearly the same number of FGAs, but they're much worse shots.

On the bright side, he's 61% from the line. :P

I️ think DJ misses Teodosic more than anybody else. I️ hesitate to trade DJ until we see how he plays with Teodosic. However, if the right deal comes along you have to ponder it.
