It's not like a playoff game to us at all.

It is, however, an important game considering we're division rivals and that the Celtics are currently the best team in the league. This is our first "test" against a legitimate conference foe, although we have had a brutally difficult schedule to date.

You and I both know that if Toronto wins, there's at least a 47% chance your franchise will hang up a "Nov. 12, 2017 Marquee Matchup Champions" banner in the stadium.

47 percent? You sure it's not closer to 48, or 47.3?

Stay blessed cool guy.

LOL Oh man here we go again with the Raps and their **** fans.

Not even bothered if they beat us..those fans don't deserve the satisfaction of such feat, but **** it..at least they have legit players on that squad unlike that trash ass Hornets squad. If we lost the streak to them, with that scrub ass bust duo of MCW and MKG clowning on us on the bench, with that trash ass loser Dwight it would be a lot more frustrating to me personally.

Having that said, if we get Kyrie and Al back I'd be pretty surprised if we lost this game. Just the better overall team..though Jaylen might be in for a long night guarding DD..it will be a good test for him.
WHAT THEY GON’ SAY NOW? ‎ THANK YOU TRUTH!

Put the longer Tatum on DDR. Throw Semi in there too. Brown can guard Powell, no problem. Having at least one of Irving or Horford back would make me more confident about a win. We have Baynes to match up against JV, Morris/Theis on Ibaka and their backup bigs. If they don't go off from 3 and we remain stifling on D, we got this. Smart and Brown with redemption games on offense. Mark it down.

Bradley helps, but Drummond is making his FTs and that has changed his whole mentality.

It's not just the free throws with Drummond. He's a completely different player right now. His post-up touches have decreased dramatically, his roll man possessions are way up, and he's defending out to the perimeter more effectively. He's been the hypothetical good Andre Drummond that we've been waiting years for.

It's not that the Raptors have **** fans. They have the same ratio of great/good/crap posters as we do. The problem is they have 4000% more posters than any team on Realgm and you only see the **** fans here when we play or lose to them.

I think we can win without Horford if Irving plays, not really impressed with Toronto's front court, aren't they rebounding at a horrible rate? Baynes' presence and physicality will be huge this game.

It’s funny as hell every end of their season, they are the new Bulls. People for some reason keep thinking they can beat LeBron and win the east despite getting embarrassed in the playoffs every year.

The Raptors really have been in no mans land for the last few years. Tiers below the Cavs when Kyrie was there and now that they're starting to decline, they still aren't better than a younger Celtics team missing an all star. Not sure when they thought their window was. Got the core signed long term to big deals too, so not sure how they improve in the near future.

Will be a really tough game to win if neither Al nor Kyrie can go. It’d be tough to win with even just one of them. Gotta contain Derozan, hope for a healthy squad and see Brown and Smart bounce back after a rough game on Friday night. I’d love to see Tatum go off too. I’ve got a feeling that one of these games he’s going to drop 30

That's why I said it changes guys whole mentality. This was ABs speculation on the jump at least. It makes him more aggressive rolling, which obviates the post touches
and makes him generally more engaged.

His line drive jumpers drive me insane. Schoolyard basketball. Those shots would have so much better accuracy if he could just put even a little arc on it

Agreed.

But to be honest for a minute here I think Morris has been great for Boston since getting healthy. Another guy that can create offense all on his own and a veteran that can make shots when you really need a bucket. He should be in a microwave scoring role off the bench but we still have yet to have a fully healthy squad this year. Chipping in 14-18 ppg has been great for Boston with Horford out.

He's not perfect but I've been extremely happy with Morris so far

They're just showing off at this point.

So, if they don't practice how the heck do they have such good chemistry?

Are they having no "official" practices? But actually having unofficial practices where they work with their team mates on the plays etc?

No Kyrie, Horford or Hayward up against an ECF rival. This is probably the end of the streak. If Toronto loses then they may aswell blow it up.

The post right above yours literally states that Horford is probable.
