Not a bad half at all.
Kinda entertaining w/ Josh/Booker/TJ together

Seems like Triano is already thinking about this possibility

Booker and Warren were hot off the dribble and liked Jackson being given licence to attack.

Yeah, that's bad. Sloppy. I meant to put -Turnovers in the poll, but forgot. Hopefully his shooting comes. But he has to be more careful with the ball.

What else can we do if we have Mike James and Tyler Ulis as our PG options...

There was one perplexing call against Booker that they gave a makeup travel call for the same possession. Came back to bite us in the ass when he got that 3rd foul at the end of the half.

Can't wait to see what kind of crazy hijinx the boys get into after the commercial break.

I don't mind the turnovers as they are always either on the pass or being aggressive attacking the rim. He'll get better reading opponents with time, the important thing is that the ideas are there, he just needs to practice and get better to complete the ideas.

Some of you say that Len is such a good rim protector and argue he is a good defensive center.

I think he sucks. He gets blocks but he doesn't consistently defend the rim like he should. Does anyone have any advanced stats on how he really rates defensively?

Edit: Oh yeah, he also has hands made of cement. :banghead:

Jackson really needs to work on making better passes. He had three that quarter that were dumb.

That's a good thing right now. He improves in those areas while others get more experience shooting. We know Booker can eventually score when he wants, but he improves defensively, gets assists and boards, then he works toward that Harden type role.

Yea it wasn't a complaint. :D

We came out flat in previous 3rd quarters. We gotta stay sharp here.

Exactly. And as far as his ugly stat line, Two of his threes were at the end of the shot clock and a half court heave at the end of the quarter. He is making his mistakes however the stat line doesn't show what he is doing well. Driving to the hoop, pushing the ball, having no fear, and some miss free throws and a non goal tending call away from a more solid stat line.

At the end of the day I don't care about his stat line per-say, because he is doing what made him the number four pick instead of the number 1 pick. Tighten up your handle, control your aggressiveness, and shoot better, then we have a winner.

The problem is his turnovers are bad because they usually lead to easy fast breaks. When dribbling he often loses it at the top of the key and there is no defenders to cover his mistake ... almost always an easy fast break.

Plus a billion. How would you like to have a 6'8 Russell Westbrook?

Right now he's at 52.5% when guarding the rim (w/ 5 DFGA per game).
