and make no mistake, we needed Russell on the floor. in the 4th. that was a backbreaking injury.

the folks that constantly hate on this kid and bitch about everything that he does are about to get a wake up call if he has to miss time.

confidence in his shot isnt there... he is looking to drive because of that i think. forcing it a bit. no rythm. its still early. needs to hit some jumpers and gain confidence... make Ds honest.

there is tape on him now. scouting. teams will make him prove he can shoot

It wouldn't be a bad move to send him down to LI and work on that shot he looks lost out there.

id much rather he work through those struggles in real games. gotta let these guys fight through adversity... thats how you develop them. where would RHJ be now if we had him dominate dleague isntead of play through struggles in the NBA

d league has its purpose, but the competition level is quite poor. sending guys there to dominate doesnt always habe the desired effect.

Long Island games are AAU games with older players. please stop suggesting this, there were people on here last season at this time screaming for RHJ to be shipped to the d league and they look stupid right now.

Keep CLV up here and let him work out what he needs to. It's growing pains and in the long-run, he'll be better for it.

Yeah it looked like he was grabbing his left knee to me. Hope he's alright. Hopefully just a strain from an awkward movement.

@Dloading returned to the locker room after whatever testing he underwent. Wasn't downcast, didn't look the worse for wear. Passed the eye test. But I don't have X-ray vision.

So there is a hope ?

I don't really see how this game is some lesson for Russell haters. In that last stretch, we were down 3 PGs. No team in the league is prepared for that.

Since the start of last season, so many guards on this roster get hurt. At some point they need to make sure the training staff and the coaching staff know how to protect and build up the player's bodies for NBA games.

Players performance by GCP against Jazz 11 Nov 2017

DAR - 49 (++)
RHJ - 29 (=)
DMC - 24 (=)
Booker - 21 (+)
Acy - 17 (=)
CLV - 12 (=)
Crabbe - 9 (--)
Whitehead - 9 (-)
Harris - 3 (-)
Mozgov - 2 (--)
Kilpatrick -1 (-)
Wiley - 0 (-)

Just too many players in the (-) range. Concern if DAR is to miss games - he is our biggest contributor so far......

That’s likely the most annoying part of these injuries. The fact we cannot ever have a game thread without the scapegoating.

Everyone watches DLO’s turnovers like a hawk but are extremely quiet when LeVert is turning it over like a machine. I don’t want to hear crap about his experience level. He’s got the same amount of time as Embiid did last season. He’s not that much of a rookie. Everyone two weeks ago was such a proponent of plus minus but has not remotely mentioned how Caris was -14 on the floor last night. He’s been flat out poor in EVERY facet of the game.

We’re likely going to be without Dinwiddie and Russell on Tuesday. Let’s see how many people start turnover watching for Caris, Isaiah and god knows who we’re going to have to sign if it’s a long term thing. Jeremy ain’t coming back so I’d appreciate it if people would stfu about him now.

Net fans don’t appreciate a damn thing but complain we are cursed. No, it actually starts with us as fans. We’re a problem in our own way. I’m tired of the “chicken little” nonsense and then the entitlement nonsense when things are not instant oatmeal. Yet, you can’t stay optimistic but pessimism and nitpicking is okay.

Paradise, what is the severity of Dinwiddie's injury? I wasn't aware he'd be down multiple games. Geez.

I'm nervous about Russell's injury. But we can only hope he's out for a minimal time. Sometime today we'll find out exactly what the injury is.

To be out Russell, Dinwiddie is really a smack. I guess SKil would have to try again to run point with Whitehead alternating. That's crazy. Just hope it won't be for long.
