I don't know I still don't see the Ulis from last year. He dribbles the ball too much and looks for his own shot when it is not necessary. He didn't pass the ball to Chriss when he was in a good post up position. He is trying to prove himself that he can score but we don't need that from him.

Give him time...a few more games and he'll be his old self. He's still catching up from the summer injury and coaching change.

Not to rain on the parade, but the Wolves defense was pretty awful. I mean, look at the open gaps and slow feet. They looked like the team playing on the 2nd night of a back to back. Not us.

Booker needs to be PG...

Because he keeps the defense jittery and he can dish off.

The offense is so much better when the ball moves and the defenses are being moved around (duh)

Booker can be Harden 2.0. Man, the Pringles Man would have been great here.

Great game. Fun one to enjoy after some of the last few ones.

Warren is gonna be the best scoring non big in the nba that doesn’t utilize 3s at all.

WHAT A GREAT GAME TO WATCH!

I was all game long thinking that they would make a run at any moment and put distance between us, but I was mistaken.

Warren and Booker played perfect games, their efficency was crazy.
Booker played that lead guard role and he avoided the turnovers and made a lot of difficult shots. He was unbelievable in the clutch.

Warren was a man out there. He can finish everything in traffic, he is one of the best finishing around the paint that I have seen in my life, he is at the highest level. Defensively he was good staying out of foul trouble and he altered a lot of Wiggins shots. He won the matchup clrearly.

Ulis starting is a good idea. Kudos to Triano for making the change in the starting lineup, he fits better with Booker/TJ. Mike James is a better fit coming from the bench, he is a better scorer than Ulis at this point and that's what we we need with JJ, Bender and Len on that second unit.

JJ has to play with more awareness about defenders. Bad shot selection for now, hopefully he improves in that are. I love his passion and I think he is gonna be great, but he needs to slow his game a little bit.

Really happy about our overall performance and this unexpected win.

Thibs re: Josh Jackson

“I think that those types of players, like when you look at our league now, his versatility is a big thing,” he said.

“He can play three positions. He can guard everyone, he can make plays, he has great anticipation. You try to build your team like that, so I think he’s a terrific talent and looks like he’s getting more comfortable. We are concerned about him. I liked him a lot to answer your question.”
"I got nothing to prove in this league. I’m a max player, and I’ll continue to be a max player."

MAN, I'm missing games due to wife's family illness. Flew I to Milwaukee late Friday night so all I'm seeing on tv is Bledso HYPE trash. Not gonna be back till after thanksgiving, but my kid is recording all of them for me. Don't feel right rooting for b ball outwardly around the wife and her family while they await a family death so I keep checking here on the sly.

Maybe it's already been mentioned but I also am so impressed with Ulis' defense. Obviously he is a little short and small, but DANG I love the way he pesters ball handlers. He takes them on full court, got a nice strip on Teague as he was trying to go around a pick, and, in what was a huge play to keep our late game run going, stripped the ball off (Butler or Wiggins can't remember) during their fast break. And I know we have said this, but damn if only he were even just 6'.

Ulis played not bad against the wolves, but prior to that he has been having a terrible 2-3 weeks... way below his play last season.

He still over dribbles....

Why is every Suns PG so keen on over dribbling at the top of the key stalling the offense. Josh, Booker etc... both at least move the ball or create plays that move the defense around. I hate watching Ulis and James just at the top of the key over dribbling while the rest watch... then they take contested shots.
