That's the best team in the East

So we're winning as constructed, they're losing as constructed so we give up Tobias, (possibly) 4 firsts and Bobo for Blake?

That's insane mate...and is precisely what Mano is mocking

I've always loved Blake, but right now we're playing really good and especially with Dre dishing out assists when he gets the ball. I don't think we can afford to mess that up by adding a new piece that unfortunately will take away significant touches away from everyone else. It'd really be Blake-ball and I don't know if that is translated into great winning basketball.

Griffin although talented is too injury prone in my opinion. He gets injured every season even if it's something stupid like punching something and breaking a bone. I would rather stick with Harris' chill mature personality, hot shooting, and our assets

Some losses tonight by the Sixers and Orlando. Orlando is just getting wrecked by the Nuggets. That run was absolutely not sustainable by that team.

So frustrating watching the Lakers and Mavericks screw up every other play in a close game against division rivals. Dennis Smith belongs in a streetball league, not the NBA.

Clippers lose yet again. Come on Clippers, time to blow it up and put Griffin on the trade block ;)

Blake just signed the supermax he might not be able to be traded until next year. Jordan is a FA next summer and they likely don't want to pay him $30+ million a year so he might be gone.

To be fair, the Magic were on a back to back without their starting and backup PG. They were down to one PG being 3rd stringer Mack while playing their 2nd night in high altitude Denver, who has been playing great lately. They may not be sustainable for a whole season, but the Magic are improved over last year.

All posters here would be claiming right now for SVG's head if he would have traded Reggie for Ricky Rubio.

Ummm, we'd be running a completely different system if we had Rubio so you can't judge it

RJ is moving the ball, moving off the ball & making the effort defensively - it's like he's a different player!

If anyone claims they saw Reggie doing this guy 12 months ago they're full of ****

It's hard for me to remember but when Reggie was first acquired his assist numbers were great through the end of his first season in Detroit.

What was he doing differently then outside of playing for a contract?

When he was first acquired he was playing the right way and getting his team mates involved - lookingto make a good impression

After he signed his new deal it seems he felt the need to prove John Wall wrong

SVG didn't help with our system that was so PG dependant. RJ's knee let him down too.

Nope the system was pnr with Drummond the whole time he played exactly the same. His assist were high because he only played 27 games.

He played exactly the same?

How he's playing now is more like how he played when first acquired...

Inbetween we saw a more selfish Reggie IMO, a guy who would prefer to pound the air out of the ball and exhaust every available second trying to "get his" instead of moving the rock.

The guy posted the exact same numbers across the board for those 27 game compared to his 2015-16 campaign only difference is assist. Same usage, shot attempts, bad defense. He dominated the ball and played pnr with Drummond.

Putting up the same numbers doesn't mean he's playing the game the same way.

And didn't RJ have higher assists when he was first acquired? That was the original question

That's a special talent. I hope Embiid stays healthy, he's fun to watch. Horrible, horrible matchup for Dre, though. That sucks.
