Just finished watching the game on DVR. Kennard played some good defense in this game. What's wrong with RJ? He's actually trying hard on defense as well. Like some strange alternate universe. ;-)

Effort from RJ has been really good... At one point he was screaming "That's my mistake that's on me" after SVG started to yell at Tobias for not closing out on a three... stepping up as a leader too which is good to see.

At 10 & 3 you could say we're close to unbeatable without him ;-)

Hopefully everyone is noticing this. He was arguably the highest energy guy on the floor today. He looks like a leader out there. He had a rough time trying to close but no one is going to close great every game. People need to start giving RJ more love and let him know how much he is appreciated.

One of my favorite parts of our hot start...the highlight makers are showing us a lot of love!

Couldn't watch the game but glad we got the W and glad my boy made an impact.

We have a tough stretch coming up so every win counts!

This is a very common misconception that even i fell prey too. RJ doesn't have tunnel vision, SVG is calling his number every time down the court because he wants to limit TO's and trust RJ to do just that. So far its worked .

Everyone talks about Jon & Bobo being wastes of cap space but no one talks about Ish being a bargain contract

Too busy focusing on the negative I guess

Ive seen some complain about Ish which is silly at his 6M a year

But Ish, Mook, and Tobias have to be SVG's top gets for our team

I think Galloway will have a chance to be a pretty big positive too. He's what, 26? In his prime on a 3 year contract and a good shooter and defender....

Ish has been phenomenal. under control, great decision making, but always pushing the pace. And that is essential for a pistons team that is in the bottom of the league in pace. "Every one plays well with Ish" says SVG and together with RJ they form a a 1-2 punch that is hard to adjust.
I just wish he developed a 3 point shot. Looking at his pull up jumper I see no reason why he wouldn't be a decent 3 point shooter. But he changes his form to shoot the spot up 3, doing a weird thing from the hip almost like Ball. With a decent shooting coach that should be fixable just by getting him to put more leg into it

As long as Ish has shooters around him like Kennard, Galloway, Tolliver, Ellenson, Tobias or whomever, I am fine with Ish not being a three point shooter.

No I understand SVG is controlling the set....I'm just saying Reggie has to make better decisions out of it.
