The only shot this team had of maybe reaching the Super Bowl this season was if they got the #1 or #2 seed and Rodgers went into full Godgers mode in January, even in that scenario it would have been a slim shot.
If you give me a healthy Aaron Rodgers in Godgers mode and tell me we have to win 2 games at Lambeau to reach the Super Bowl then it would have been possible, but that's probably the only scenario.
Anyone who thinks this team can sneak into the Playoffs as a #5 or #6 seed and then go on the road and win 3 games against the likes of Philadelphia, New Orleans, Minnesota or Seattle is deranged.

Oh like we stumbled in the last time we won the SB? !
No, he means like how we've been shredded in the playoffs just about every season since.

I know they play some other bad teams over the next few weeks, but I don't think this team is good enough at this point to get back in real playoff contention.
I'd rather lose the vast majority or all of the rest of the games, get Capers fired, and get like the 7th pick than barely miss the playoffs and get the 20th pick or make the playoffs and get blasted again and get an even worse draft pick. This team needs more impact players, especially on defense. IMO, this year is done and we should use the rest of this year to get better in the future.
The Bears can't throw the ball well and that's the Packers weakness. We aren't making the playoffs and no way should Rodgers risk future health.
People hoping Capers gets fired though are likely wasting their time. McCarthy hasn't done it after all this time, nor has Ted forced McCarthy to do it.

Ravens, Bucs, and Browns coming up to ruin it further.
ok so we have 5 wins, winning those gets us to 8 and then we get Arod back for the remaining 3 regular season games who can then get us in to the playoffs and win a Super Bowl. Are you people even fans of this team?
Right. I'm not giving up hope till we're mathematically out of it. It's like people would rather have their narrative come true over actually wanting them to make a run
I won't say win the next 3 but if they can go 2-1 in the next 3 that puts them in position, having then gone 3-3 without Rodgers starting, to make a run if Rodgers can come back.

Not sure if I'm being called a tanker, but I agree, no need to tank in a wide-open NFC. And football tanking isn't NBA tanking, unless there's a franchise QB in the draft, and even then, it's questionable.
The fact that we have the Ravens and Bucs and Browns coming up is further argument we shouldn't tank.

That said, I'm a McCarthy and TT fan, but I'm not a Capers fan. Would love to move on from Capers even if we do make the playoffs, and even if we win the SB.

We were a game from the SB last year, wake up! We have the best player in the game, that guy is always capable of going on a god like run to beat anyone.
