Indeed, just the fact that he dominates professional players and doesn't look awkward on a basketball court like Bagley is enough for me. Not that Bagley will not turn into a good player, but he looks extremely raw at the moment and the good stats so far IMO are reflection of the low competition level.

His skill set. Efficient shooter. Excellent finishing at the rim. Excellent ball handler. Very good and improving distributor. 6-6 with an nba body. Plays against grown men now and dominates. Plays in a league superior to the NCAA. Good but not great athlete. Fast but not really fast.

Best I can think is a 6-6 Steve Nash.

If he defended well, he would be an immediate superstar.

I see him more as a rich man's Batum.

Batum 15-6-6
Doncic 18-7-7

Something like that, keep in mind he's never averaged more than 4 assists in any competition or league because he plays SG / SF and needs a PG next to him.

Ayton has been pretty impressive so far, although he hasn't gone against much competition. Great size/frame, very athletic, pretty good looking jumper, shooting well from FT, couple nice touch passes out of the post, maybe not the best coordination yet though. I can see why some people compare his skillset to KAT. Hopefully Sean Miller can whip him into shape defensively and get his motor at 100%, he has so much potential to be dominant on that end.

Tomorrow is going to be awesome. Duke vs. Michigan State. Get the first look at Bagley against a top team after he's apparently been disappointing draft fans despite averaging 25/10 the first 2 games. He hasn't shot the ball too well, but that combination of size, athleticism, and feel for the game is really something. Once the college game really slows down for him it's a wrap.

One of the slowest back courts in the league, especially on D. But it could be worth a try with these two uber-talented youngsters, if we hire a really-really good coach.

Booker is not slow. Where did that come from? I am not sure Doncic is either.

We'd go Doncic-Booker-Jackson on offense and Jackson-Booker-Donkic on defense.

We'd struggle with little guys, but who the mouse gonna guard? All three of those guys have a post-up game.

I hope we go "ALL IN" for that kid. Make him our PG and if he's having trouble guarding a quicker PG then Josh Jackson can switch on D.

I have heard that it's harder to get assists in Europe, as they record them much more selectively. So his assist average could be higher by US standards.

Also, isn't he the starting pg for Barcelona this year?

I think Ayton with a motor is one of the missing pieces for the Suns, and I love the way Doncic plays basketball. I would take Ayton over anyone right now, but reserve the right to change my mind by draft time.

If Suns want Doncic, they'd have to trade one of Warren, Jackson.. because you need minutes to develop these players.
Look at Celtics with Tatum, Hayward's injury has given him opportunity to start and is thriving... he has a proper role too.
Hence, I rather get Ayton...

Who would you take at 3 if Ayton/Doncic gone?
