Sweden beats Italy handing them a bit of their own medicine(Catenaccio).

Overall this italien team was really mediocre and had no creativity offensively.
Though, hardly playing guys like SES, Bernadeschi or Insigne was a really dumb move by their manager.

I haven t words to comment this disaster...
It doesn t happen since 1958...foolish choices by Ventura...
I am very sad...
We are no longer the great team of 20-25 years old but cmon 0 goal against Sweden it is impossible
"...I want to compliment him, we all expected that he would take up the game, we have prepared the plan race on him, we have doubled. And, as usual, he did what he wanted..."

Will Zlatan come out of international retirement now Sweden have qualified?

Feel bad for Italy, they're always one of my favourite teams, but congrats to Sweden on a terrific achievement.

It's going to be weird not to have Italy...

just wow.... Expect a bounceback from them(I hope) for the new generation.

on Zlatan... I bet he'll accept it if they asked(despite saying he won't)

Italy did try though, hard fought back when the Sweds played 90 min defense practically.

Goes to show how good Conte is, making this team look like one of the best at Euros, losing only on pks to Germany

I really hope Denmark will win today. Ireland is so boring , playing all men back, not creating anything, just kicking ball out of their half as far as they can and waiting for free kick or corner to have a chance to score. Football like that is like Greece from 2004, I hoped I will never see it again in major competition.

Did you watch Euro 2016? Felt like every match was like that. Horrible spectacle.

Yes I did. Portugal was certainly not deserving the title.

Eriksen is such a fantastic footballer. Privileged to watch him week in week out for Spurs.

Almost would like to see this ruthlessness in front of the net for Spurs as well. Feel like he likes to create more at Spurs, but likes to score more for Denmark because the options are worse. So glad to see him in the WC though, well deserved just for almost single-handedly bringing Denmark there.
