Mitchell is a 2

So who was playing the 1 when neither Rubio or Neto were in the game?

I'm saying Mitchell natural position is a 2.
But that doesn't mean he can't play as point guard during the game.

Is a Lavine situation all over again.

Well, if the Jazz don't want him, I'd happily reverse the trade. Ricky for Cole and the OKC pick, or something similar? :D I'd like to see Ricky playing with Jamal off the bench. They seem like perfect compliments - one's strengths is the other's weaknesses. Plus Ricky always seemed to get the best out of Bazz.

Yeah, I know, I know... pipe dream.... rules and stuff....

(Although that OKC pick is looking more and more interesting. I thought they'd be better by now? I guess, never underestimate the ability of Carmelo to drag down a team....)

Is the OKC pick protected?

Lottery protected until 2020. Becomes 2 2nd round picks if we don't get it by then (not gonna happen).

Just wondering, (I may be on a Rubio kick, so forgive me.)
The Jazz were projected to make the playoffs, or be in serious contention right? Now they look as if they are lotto bound. I thought Rubio made teammates better? Could he be the first player in the NBA that never makes the playoffs? Given his time in the league, has it happened to anyone else?

There have been other guys to never make a playoff... list wouldn’t look good though.

Rubio has been in 7 yrs. I think he will have to be traded by the deadline (to a winning team) to ever get there.

When the Jazz trade for Rubio they still had a chance to resign Hayward and Gobert wasn't hurt. I don't think anyone would project Utah to make the playoffs without those two. It was borderline once Hayward left.

I noticed a lot of TWolves, Kings and Clippers (80's Clips and Kings). There are a few teams that were just bad for so long and guys who played for them, weren't good enough to play for good teams so kept going to bad teams if anyone would give them a chance.

Thanks WWM.
Funny how they have an * for hall of fame players, but don't have any listed. I do think it's funny that Cuz is on there, and he might not make the PO's this year. Timberwolves are repping the list.

Yeah the situation the Jazz are in right now is of course exclusively Ricky Rubio's fault. Has absolutely nothing to do with losing good / great scorers in Hill and Hayward, a huge talent in Dante Exum, their reliable go-to iso scorer Joe Johnson who rocked last season, and of course their all defensive team star center in Gobert. Even when he was benched it was still his fault that they lost. Rumor has it that he is also responsible for a few natural catastrophes and maybe he is even an islamic terrorist. Totally!

Ricky being like 1/30 from 3pt line on wide open 3s is definitely his fault

Of course! And also Gobert would suck if he had that quota! In no case its the "fault" of the person who ordered him in that corner, and asked him to shoot a shot he's not good at! In other news, Ricky also sucks at posting up forwards. He's really useless man you are totally right!
