They didn't back down to Queen James and his cheerleader squad, they made an insane run, but couldn't hold on because rotations were sloppy, KP got tired after being physically manhandled (plus those 2 early fouls took him out of rhythm), and Korver got hot.
- Why was Jack out there for so long in the 4th?
- Their better lineup of Frank/Lee/Hardaway/McDermott/KP would've taken this game.
- KOQ was HORRIBLE, did not looked focused at all.
- I ♥ Kanter; he took it to the Queen and his cheerleaders.
- Frank ain't scared boii
- Garden is alive again.
frank can't play 40 minutes yet. i love that he's finishing games though.
rotations were off because it was a bloodbath. i see why horny went back to the starters early in the 4th. the lead was evaporating.
kanter was the gift and curse. the 3s really started to rain because he was being brilliantly exploited on defense. once korver caught fire it was too late. cleveland was going to live or die by the longball and they lived. we probably had enough in us to survive the run if we clamped down on the three, but whatever. learning experience. i'm over the shock.
wanted that one so bad i could taste it. i was halfway to loopy blogger status in the third quarter. but this is a marathon and i'm loving the development of this team.
Are you sure you want to hold Kanter responsible for the three pointers?
i'm not holding him responsible, but if you look at it he was the initial point of the breakdown.
lebron was attacking him and getting him lost. when he got help they exploited the open man.
that's why i said it was brilliant. they found a hole in the armor and kept using it to break the defense down. shumpert and crowder missed some open ones, but someone was always open around the horn in the second half.
