Mastermind Scott Brooks is going to say "hey this is working, let's leave it"

Then Ernie is going to send Mahinmi+a 2018 1st+ Frazier to Phoenix for Eric Bledsoe, we then will use more smaller lineups with Morris at the 5 so he gets starters minutes. Satoranksy takes over the backup small forward minutes (because he is a good player), our bench becomes the best in the NBA, we win the east. We look like this and everyone lives happily ever after:

Wall Bledsoe
Beal Meeks
Oubre Satoransky
Porter Morris/Scott
Gortat Morris/Smith

That works for me.

The only tweak I'd make is that I wouldn't play Sato all that much - at least not in the playoff rotation. I'd slide Beal to SF for 6 or so minutes a game to make sure Bledsoe can play 30+ minutes. That frees up Morris to play a few less forward minutes and a few more center minutes.

The one other thing I'd keep an eye on is how well the team fares with Bledsoe running the point instead of Wall. If Bledsoe is really good, Wall could be traded for a high value young center before his contract balloons. That might make a lot of sense for the long term sustainability of the team. That's the kind of foresight a GM like Ainge would show.

agreed, Sato would be the 9th/10th rotation guy that gets squeezed in favor of 3 guard lineups, which we would obviously use alot with a guy like Bledsoe.

Imagine a Wall for Jokic+Murray swap. Wiz would never consider things like this, but it would make alot of sense.

Damn it...and Bledsoe goes to a east rival instead. I would have been happy with this..but i would have still played Sato more...and would do so going forward. The rule you have to employ with a young player is that you are either playing him or moving him...no need to keep a “small” young guy on the bench wasting away and not developing his skills in live action. If he was 6’10” on the bench he could be a body...but a guard or wing guy has to learn to play to be useful at all. We can get any 6’6” guy to give you minutes (see Spurs roster) for damn near no money. If you gonna keep Sato...play Sato. BUT START Morris.

Morris should certainly not start. In his career he's never produced at anywhere near the level of either Otto or Oubre.

I'm not sure what anybody thinks Kieff brings to the table as a player. He had 2 fabulous games in a row scoring the ball, but obviously there's nothing to conclude from that -- we have many years of play to look at, & it tells us he's not an effective scorer. & he certainly doesn't rebound.

If he is an outstanding defender... well, lets just say I haven't really seen that. Are there numbers to support it?

People seem to be enamored of how Mike Scott is playing. Although that's kind of silly, he is certainly more effective overall than Markieff.

So, to me, the answer is: no, Kieff shouldn't come off the bench. He should stay glued to the bench.

He brings defense, the not very useful kind because he doesn't rebound or protect the rim. His DPRM stat is always high, like one of the best in the NBA high.

this team just needs to find a rim protector and commit to playing small ball with Oubre and Otto next to him. Where do we find a Rudy Gobert?

Reasons why that won’t happen:

1. Brooks has the most simple minded approach of any coach in the league, would never do that

2. Ernie wouldn’t allow his 35 million$ on centers be wasted

You forgot one other reason -- it's an absolutely idiotic idea.
