I wasn't able to see the game but just watched some highlights - he looks unbelievably strong through his core, very good first step. Atrocious shooting though 7 - 20, his mechanics changed from shot to shot. He's a potential top 10 guy though which is good for us given we won't be drafting him.

Mikal Bridges with 23 points on 11 shots, 5-6 from FT, 6 rebounds, 5 steals and 4 blocks in 27 minutes. Not bad.

Will be watching some games in this week, interesting to see why Kansas shot so poorly and a shame that Bagley played just 10 minutes.

i'm kinda locked in on mikal bridges. imagine having two way players at every position in your starting five.

I really like both of the Bridges, both two way players.

As long as we come away with Kevin Knox or Mikal Bridges, I'm convinced we have the ingredients in place for a championship core.

Duval plays/looks small trying to finish around the rim, even with his plus length. Knox weirdly reminds me of Fultz -- similar athleticism, movement and shooting, neither near physical maturity.

Knox reminds me of a more perimeter oriented Jayson Tatum with better mobility. He was pretty ridiculous last night.

Can Jaren Jackson rise all the way to #1?

Athletic, 7'4" wingspan, skilled offensively, excellent rebounder, excellent shot blocker.

I like the Tatum comp for Knox. What I noticed immediately about him tho, he doesn't have any scoring moves. All his buckets were straight line drives or catch and shoot. They ran him around off screens like he was Malik Monk or something.. Weird way to use a guy that's 6'9

Whichever pick Detroit ends up with.

i hope the sixers are interested in him, he could either be another ass sauce or could be another redick

seeing what redick brings to the table as a sixer fan, i'm seeing allen in a new light.

Don't want him near the team, snobby brat who trips people.

He's like 16 months younger than Mo Bamba - I know nothing about Jackson but he looks really interesting on the highlights I've seen from the early season. Pretty sure there are top prospects still in high school who he's younger than.

Dag. No Bamba last night. Except for Bridges, all my dudes are hurt.

Friend at Westtown says kid is supremely intelligent. Really considered Harvard. Other than the cash, Texas won out in part on academics.

Man, getting something like Walker, Troy or Bruce Brown, Trae Young, or Sexton with the LA pick plus Mikal, Trent, Andrew Jones, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, or Milton with your own pick, would be so great to consolidate pieces around BS and Embiid.

I fear Doncic will have the same issue Dario has had with his playmaking not translating to the NBA -- just not athletic enough to make it happen. That said, Doncic wouldn't need to be a primary playmaker for us. His passing and shooting would be perfect in our offense. I can't ever see him becoming a decent defender though.
