Bruno Fernando is a beast. Wow, he's impressive. Great game from Cowan. Not feeling it from Jackson and Huerter with five turnovers. Jackson has the body but his game just seems meh for the pros. Morsell is also a defensive stopper and where has Dion Wiley been for all these years? There will be bigger games but they passed the first test.

Cowan had 8 FGA's and 25 points... and 10 rebounds... only 5 assists? I'd like to see him set up teammates more, but that was a great performance. MD has some guards! I don't know if Morsell is going to continue shooting that well, but he'll be a real good all-around player. It's nice to finally have a big who can catch the ball and score - Fernando. I still think Jackson is going to end up being the best player on the team by season end. With all the guards and speed on the team, it's about time that MD starts running a lot more.

Morsell hurt his hammy - hopefully he'll heal hellahurry or Huerter haveta... eh, I ran out of h's. Bruno's continuing to look like the real deal. Turgeon needs to play him 30 minutes a game and stop starting Ivan Bender - actually, stop playing Ivan Bender. I just want to see Bruno and Jackson up front as the 5 and 4. Cekovsky can play the remaining big minutes. This team should be running as much as possible - I don't trust that Turgeon will do that. They could be an offensive juggernaut.

Yeah, they're going to need Morsell. If it is a hamstring I hope he takes his time. Those injuries can be lingering.

In the meantime, I hope Jared Nickens makes the most of his opportunities to play.

Bad loss to St. Bonnies doesn’t reflect well on Turgeon. So many turnovers

Maybe so but did you really think they would win up in the Carrier Dome after playing two straight days in Florida and having one day of rest, where they practiced and watched film? Cuse hadn't played since Nov. 22. Unlucky scheduling due to ACC/Big 10 shootout because Florida Tournament was scheduled before. Not a Turge fan but I give them credit for taking it to the wire. Aside from that, the St. Bonny's was a pitiful loss.

Yup, this is what I concluded after watching the Terps massively under perform under him, I have not seen this-years team yet.

Didn't think they'd win but they had a golden opportunity. And the Terps were in prime position to win that game.

Turgeon has no offensive system which sucks. Terps defend and they'll rebound. But the lack of offensive flow and all the damn turnovers really is annoying to watch year after year.

Huerter and Cowan's defense was atrocious last night. I'm not defending his offensive system though missed FTs in the clutch are on the players. I think if I'm Damon Evans, or whomever the AD is next season, I give Turge one more season because they have a great class coming in next season, with a five star and two four star guys. I also think Cowan is not a true point guard and is more of a 6-foot shooting guard. That's a major reason for the turnovers along with the loss of Melo and Brantley. Morsell is not a point guard and Turge inability to recruit a backup is not helping. Everybody thought Huerter can play some point but don't think so.
