Nuggets' Culture

Post#1 » by NuggetsWY » Wed Nov 15, 2017 8:02 pm

Malone has been the head coach for 2+ years. If you were to define the "Nuggets' Culture"; how would you describe it?

"Finesse" - is that a synonym for "soft"? :D

Don’t laugh, the rest of the NBA is looking into that

Right now the culture seems a bit apathetic IMO. I thought the Milsap signing would infuse some toughness into the team, seems I was wrong as I really don't see a lot of fire in the club

I think the culture is being based around respect. Respect for the game, respect for your teammates. They aren't fully there, but it seems to be the direction we are heading. Connely certainly respects the contribution of his veteran players. He released Nelson so that Jameer could choose his own team rather than take a protected 2nd and send him to a losing situation. Some are critical of the Nuggets front office being too nice, but having a GM that will treat you with respect may be an important factor for free agents.
