I don't but it's going to happen.

People called me an idiot for saying that Simmons is going to be amazing. Just throwing it back at them.

That said, I doubt they block us from 18 with Colangelo at the helm. He'll **** things up somehow.

If he stays healthy, Simmons will be unstoppable soon.

The Lakers winning the lotto and conveying the pick to the Sixers would be really, really gross.

He's a rookie and it's November. So have to be careful with quick judgements. If he maintains the same trajectory he has now (which is completely possible) he may just be a role player. If he ups his defense perhaps someone such as Rondo or Smart. That's not a bad thing and is a useful player to have.

Given LA's talent he doesn't have to be the HOF'er some of them envisioned for him to be a success. They already did pretty well in this draft with Kyle Kuzma. You can't just look at players in terms of "star" or "bust" or else you may end up dumping a good player cheap (like they did with Russell or Denver did with Tony Battie). Appreciate the role player you have now and hope they develop into something more.

He's great, but he won't become a championship caliber player unless he can shoot beyound 6 feet. Remember when teams would funnel Lebron into a double baseline and make him pass or shoot outside? Like how we beat them for 3 years with the big 3? It's basically that now with Simmons. Teams that can do it will win, teams that can't will see Simmons triple dub with 30pts on 65% shooting.

At least Lebron could jump shot at 30% back in those days. Now that he can shoot, it doesn't work at all.

That's how I see Simmons. It's all on if he can make a jumper if he has too.

I think Ball will be fine. He isn't a great shooter but he has great court vision and he can pass and rebound well. I think he will be a triple double machine at some point.

Head is right there in the middle, beak and all.

Dash of salt on the side as well. I know from the Canadians on this website that people like their crow salty.

The most remarkable thing about Philly is Embiid has been healthy. That is great news for them. Obviously Embiid and Simmons are going to be a major problem for a very long time if they stay healthy. Don't want to compare or jump the gun, but something like a more skilled Shaq and a slightly less physically dominant LeBron together is what they sort of look like.

But then again they played the Lakers. Aaron Baynes just used and abused that team the other day..

Well, they don;t need a big guy but if they get Doncic they can have this:

Fultz
Doncic
Covington
Simmons
Embiid

In 3 years they' can be scary. A lot of youth but Embidd and Simons staying healthy are 2 all stars. and Fultz will break through eventually.

I have followed Embiid for years now. You're not jumping the gun at all.

Embiid is the reason I want the Lakers pick to convey and get Bamba or Ayton.

I don't but it's going to happen.

People called me an idiot for saying that Simmons is going to be amazing. Just throwing it back at them.

That said, I doubt they block us from 18 with Colangelo at the helm. He'll **** things up somehow.

Simmons isn’t going to be amazing. Wait until until nut cutting time and I bet he turtles. Much like a Fultz...losing programs everywhere he has been.

He's already amazing. It's not a matter of opinion at this point. He's going to be a great NBA player for a long time.

Someone who can shoot isn’t a great player. Force him into jumpers and not baby hooks or within 3 feet? I’ll take Kuzma over him and that’s not saying much.
