With all due respect, who gives a **** if Jones was a ROY contender or not? It's an honor that means nothing to anyone else except him and his family. In other words, it means nothing.

I already realize that I just came off like a dick, and for that, I'm sorry. But I did say "with all due respect"....

We get Jeff Triplette and crew.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Heard on the Radio that Rodgers could possibly play the last 3 games of the year. Which means we have to go 3-1 vs Ravens, Steelers, Tampa and the Browns to be in playoff contention and reason to let Rodgers play this year.

It really is strange and you probably could indeed call it comical at this point, but I think I might have figured out why it's happening.

I think the football Gods got together back in 2010 and said, we're going to let the Packers win 1 Super Bowl with Mike McCarthy because Aaron Rodgers is too good to not have at least 1. But the football Gods allowing a coach as awful as Mike McCarthy to win a Super Bowl came with a huge price, can you imagine the strings they had to pull for that happen.

Thus the insane amount of injuries year after year for the Packers. And with the NFC so weak this season the football Gods took out Aaron Rodgers, they wern't taking any chances.

:D

Geez you're desperate to blast MM, guy won a SB and is very consistent year to year whether you like it or not. He's not the best coach and does get on your nerves now and then but he has earned credit too. SB's are not easy to win, Marino was probably the second most talented passer ever to Arod and he never got one. manning crawled his way to 2 at the very end and got lucky to have that D. You said like a maniac raving about football gods, you need breaks to win an SB no matter who is at QB and who your coach is

no you get to 7 wins and let Arod run the table. 10 gets you in, hell 9 might

9 wont this year. Right now Seattle is alone in the 6 seed at 6-3. With them a game up and crowd of teams at 5-4 10 wins may not be good enough depending on tie breakers.

Realistically they need to go 3-1 in their next 4 and then have Rodgers run the table to guarantee the POs. I hope it happens and im not giving up hope but the odds are long though.

(I'll add though if this team makes it to 10-6 with Rodgers out half the season some people should eat crow regardless of a P.O. birth)

Still hoping Capers is let go no matter what

Lol. Well, as far as hollow statements go, "thoughts and prayers" will always reign supreme. But I'd like to think that "with all due respect" is somewhere in the top 5.

So if we lose out or only win one more game, does Rodgers still come back with 3 games left?

If you wouldn't be willing to risk it under those circumstances, I wouldn't risk it under any. As cool as it would be to have Rodgers come back the final 3 games, go 3-0 and lead us to a Superbowl.........the risk of a career ending injury is too great.

The highest risk isn't even close to the highest reward. If Rodgers were to come back, I would start questioning our team doctor's even more than Martellus Bennett.

Again, it's a collarbone injury. It's either healed or it isn't. I have no idea what our record will be come Week 15, but there is no risk of a career-ending or even career-altering injury for Rodgers if/when he comes back this year.

This has got to be trolling.

It's a collarbone. It's healed or it isn't. There's no added risk after it's healed because well..... It's healed. Much less career threatening. Lol. WTF?

Yeah there's no risk once it's healed. If we're in it (which I doubt) and he's healed he should play.

It's just not worth bringing him back at that point if we're out of it, anyway. Even if there isn't added risk to the collarbone, it's still football and there's still risk of injury. The last thing we need to happen is to have him injure himself in such a way that it'll bleed into 18. Plus, we should tank at that point, anyway.

If we win this week, I'll be all aboard the Rodgers coming back train. But if we lose, there's really no point in having him come back.

Well yeah, the second when/if we're mathematically eliminated from the postseason, you shut Rodgers down immediately. Don't think anyone in their right mind would argue otherwise.

No Ty or Jones. Need Williams and Mays to step up to take some of the burden away from Hundley.

FWIW, I have a feeling we're gonna see some more freedom from Hundley. This might be his breakout performance - and by breakout, I'm saying something like 24-30, 289 yards, 2 TDs, 1 Rushing TD.

I wouldn't even predict Rodgers having that good of a game against the Ravens defense.
