Kyrie is going to get better and better? Beg to differ. He's hard to stop at the end of games.

I remember how we beat the Cavs in first week of the season that we only won 17 games.

Defense won that game

Free throw attempts won that game.

Kyrie and company could be problematic. He's never been given his dues because he won with Lebron.

But let's not forget that he's still only 25 and that if it wasnt for him going ballistic in the finals, Cleveland would never have a ring.

Kyrie is legit considering his age. godlike handles and elite finisher...not to mention his range. he's a threat from everywhere

I'm not even that worried about the sixers. Embiid is going to get injured again and is overrated anyway. Simmons will be nice but he doesnt seem to have a really high ceiling.

The bucks have a better core with giannis and parker

By company you mean Brad Stevens?

Celtics are just out hustling everyone atm. They are going 110% where others teams at 80% max. That 0-2 definitely fired them up.

Kyrie is averaging 20 and 5 and getting MVP chants.

the crappy part about this whole thing is that either the sixers or the celtics are going to get the Lakers lottery pick lol

why the hell does everyone gift the sixers and celtics high picks

Tatum is legit man. They have horford too. And other nice pieces/draft picks too. They are attracting free agents. The knicks have the better young core but they have a really good infrastructure (i hate to say it)

I referred to them as "and Company" because no matter who they lose and who they replace they still play the same solid ball. Like you said Brad stevens has a lot to do with it. But now they have a legit superstar in Kyrie who can act as a go-to guy for big games.

Kyrie has to be respected. He's proven his worth in all star games, international competitions, and on the biggest stage in the NBA - the finals. When he's going he cannot be stopped

More like he is such a dangerous magician having him will you a chance to beat anyone, especially if you have the base to carry him that far so he can make the difference in a tight game, tight series, late situation..

Yeah, Tatum and Brown are good young players. Horford is an MVP of this team and playing amazingly, but I just don't see them doing any serious damage (in PO) just yet.

I see that "Kyrie kills it in the big games (finals)" argument quite often. And well, its true, he comes up big. But I think we can all agree without LeBron he isn't sniffing those bigs games. While others guys, like Lillard, are in Portland without LeBron and doesn't have a chance to even get to those big stages.

Lillard also pretty much always kills GSW, when they are playing them.

oh i dont think the celtics are doing serious damage in the playoffs either at the moment. i thought we were talking about the future.

i was just saying they will be threats to the knicks in the future

Celtics, Knicks, Bucks and Sixers should be the big teams of the future. Detroit might get up there too.

Simmons is a walking triple double threat every night as a ROOKIE...he can only get better as he polishes his offensive game.

I still like KP better though.

Sorry Boston's start is phony. The East is wide open but they're not winning a title. Brown and Tatum are good -- like them both, no diss on them. Kyrie, one Finals doesn't make me a big believer. I think he's a magician and tough in a close game but he's not dominant and he's questionable health.

Rockets better off with Anderson than Melo imo, killer sharpshooter. Game already over.

Simmons is a "rookie" but he's already had access to nba resources for a year and is already 21...only a year younger than porzingis

simmons is nice but his game is already very polished and he shouldnt develop that much more physically. dont see his ceiling to be that high.

didnt say brown. tatum has a higher ceiling than simmons for sure. Tatum can turn into a melo with elite defense but slightly lesser offense

I think KP and Embiid is a wash, not sure which one would win in 1v1

I wouldnt trade KP for Embiid straight up though, KP is 1 year younger
