I expect the same performance of Real as vs. Baskonia. Depends on Unicaja how fired up they will be.

And I pray for Doncic not to get injured.

Real will win this game. Its almost a must win game for them, Doncic only played 22 min so he should be more fresh than on Tuesday, they play at home... Unicaja is also not as good as Baskonia so I expect a routine win for Real.

I have been saying for a couple of weeks now that Laso should rest Doncic for a game in ACB but it seems like there is no right time for that with all the injuries. Real just cant win a game right now if Luka isnt playing good/great so he Laso needs to play him 28min per game. I hope he doesnt get injured as well, that would be the end of Reals season in EL.

You could see that he plays way better when he is relaxed, also the commentator mentioned something about Luka refocusing his playstyle to better his teammates rather than trying to carry the game himself and it seemed to work wonders for him, if that is true.

Personally I much prefer this version of Doncic, where scoring is secondary. If teammates hit some open shots he would have been extremely close to a triple-double in just 3 quarters.

As a NBA prospect, I think you'd rather him be a scorer. He's already shown he can get his teammates involved. I guess Real just wants him to win?

The hang-time at 4:37 is also nice:

He's been taking it too far the last couple of games, starting to get a bit of tunnel-vision, as Thespianoid correctly pointed out.

Unicaja looks pretty trashy. They were terrible against Zalgiris, even tho Zalgiris almost commited the biggest choke in recent memory.

I agree, but mostly teams get fired up when going against Real, just because it is Real.

He looks more and more like Harden to me.

Harden goes through bodies, Doncic tries to go around. Also questionable if he ever ends up that level of shooter.

I don't think he is saying that Luka is at the same level as James Harden, i believe what he is saying is that if he develops he could one day become a player similar to James Harden.

He is just trolling, better ignore.

BTW, probably most people have seen this video from when he was 14. His passing ability was amazing. He was also making those passes consistently, this was basically just one tournament, not a best of video of a whole season.

He is a natural playmaker. You don't see him making these plays today on such a consistent basis, because he plays against much better opposition. He is able to sneak them in occasionally. That's why comparing NCAA highlights to Euroleague is an absolute joke. Lonzo's highlight reel from last season would have been much less impressive had he played it in Euroleague. I also like that even back then he went for the two handed dunk whenever he could (which was not as easy when he was 14 obviously). A lot of Euro guards go for layup by default, they claim it's just as probable to go in and they spend less energy. Screw that. Go for the dunk and get your teammates and fans going. :)

Harden had a knack for seeking and playing through contact as a youth.

They did play without without Nedovic, though, right? They are not built like Real Madrid, you take their best player out and they are done.

He is driving to the basket more and more, but he's still avoiding contact and jumping off both feet. That won't fly in the NBA.

His FTr is better than Shved & De Colo right now.
Shved was very good at drawing fouls after leaving Minnesota.
De Colo was pretty average in NBA.
