What? So much for day to day.

There is a PG curse on this team. When does it end? Horrible news.

From day-to-day to knee surgery, WTF

I know it's not a major knee surgery but it's still significant and who knows how many games he'll miss.

This team has so many injuries this year. Not sure what the heck is happening.

You guys aren't cursed. He has knee issues, but no one wanted to be realistic about it. Hopefully he recovers and gets back quickly.

Is this related to the bone bruise or did they find something else while he was getting checked out?

Man what a bummer. I hope they take care of that problematic knee once and for all after the surgery. Good news is he's very young but still would have liked to see him grow on the court like he was doing already..sigh.

Time for Levert, Whitehead and Dinwiddie to step up even more. We'll see.

from the netsdaily piece, it was to clean up loose bodies that were found. so i guess getting that knee contusion led the team to finding something else. either way, while it sucks that he'll be out for awhile, i wouldn't get too upset, it's not a season ending procedure and if this leads to cleaning up any lingering knee issue he was having that's a positive long term.

Whut? That blows. I hope he recovers soon. No need to rush things since he's still young and there's still plenty of time for him.

Tough set back but I believe in the training and medical staff. Hopefully DLo takes this time to watch a lot of film and help coach the team like Lin.

One could only hope that the curse would come to pass after this year, along with King's shadow.

We go from a talented/crowded backcourt to a rehabbing backcourt, build some camaraderie this way?

Meanwhile, joy for Gilbert

He may have, but he's one of many PGs that have had injuries with the Nets. Yes, hope he has a full and speedy recovery.

4-6 weeks is my guess on the timetable. Love and Beverly missed around that much time after having the same procedure
