I don't see the Thunder keeping Paul George next year if this continues.

Also...Westbrook 5-22 from the field. He's being even more inefficient than last year. No sure what's going on there.

OKC is now 2-7 vs the West and their only wins came against a hobbled Clippers team and the last place Mavs.

It's still just November but when does this become a concern?

The number of game winners on PGs resume. Let me adjust my comment. PG hasn’t/doesnt make them when it matters most. Is that better?

Who would you rather have take that shot...Melo, Westbrook or PG?

If the Thunder needed a game winner, I would agree with you. It's absolutely true that PG just doesn't have any last-second game winners in his career. But they didn't need a game winner here. They needed a 3 to tie the game and send it to overtime. PG has proved a lot of times that he can make that shot.

So, no. PG definitely counts as a good shooter in that situation. He can send a game to overtime.

All those game winners on his resume...wait?

There is a difference between "not great in game winning situations" and "isn't a good shooter."

PG isn't clutch. Isn't a good shooter. Isn't blah blah blah..

Doesn't change the fact that those Melo iso crap is a cancer for any team!

Agreed....not disagreeing with you at all. Honestly i would say thats PG is a great player...the coach gotta get the right shot for the right man. More on the coach that the players in that situation

His mentality is awful

That was really good defense. I don't think he was trying to get a foul, rather than just trying to get something up and then hoping for a foul.

Fair point...i wanted Melo to take that shot...Melo is a shooter. But it has to be made during the play instead of in iso.

PG doesn't ever look motivated in the regular season. This is nothing new. He's been mailing it in for years now.

When the sample size is bigger. There were some flukey things about a couple of those games. The egregious Minnesota loss comes to mind with Towns getting away with leveling George as Wiggins banks a three to win the game.

Thunder will likely be the beneficiary of calls like that eventually, but you have to let the data even our.
