That’s because he’s such a smart player, he knows better than to get mixed up in that kind of junk. Why risk getting suspended when your so valuable to your team on the court.

I think people are making too big of a deal out of the Lonzo thing. That's just his personality. Also, dude's struggling hard right now he's gotta figure his own stuff out first before he starts getting entangled in pointless shoving matches.

Then he got a pretty cowardice personality , remind me of those dumb bystanders who would just stood there and filmed with their mobile phones when they saw something happened

Coward is the wrong word to use for Lonzo for that situation. There's nothing cowardly about avoiding a pointless confrontation like that. Sure, you generally want your guys to come in and at least show that they have a teammates back, but if you're not that type of person there's nothing wrong with that

There is absolutely something wrong with that. If you were drafted to lead the team then you better damn make sure your teammates know you have their back. Make some effort.

I mean, it's not a big deal and I'm not shunning the guy, but it's an interesting character trait.

And no, most NBA players would go and try and help their teammate in that situation or to try and calm the situation. Walking off like nothing is happening isn't normal.

Yeah - not normal at based on my years of watching the NBA - not everyone actively gets involved in the action, but they at least stand close by watching the situation just in case.

Maybe it comes from years of his dad fighting and arguing w/ people and he's just used to it being no big deal. Like an on court fight between his dad and refs may have been a daily occurrence as he was growing up playing AAU basketball.

Lonzo seems selfish and cowardly for not having his teammates' back. There's no defending this, really.

doesn't really matter what realgm thinks about the situation, i'm sure there's players in that laker locker room that are gonna side eye lonzo for that b**** move. "i don't want to pick up a tech" sticking up for your teammates is like an unwritten rule? whether or not it's just a shoving match. if you're the golden child of LA, at least try to act like you care about the situation.

i gaurantee you that players around the league are gonna think lonzo is a b**** after watching that clip

u never know how teammates will react but it would be funny if lonzo got into an altercation and none of his teammates have his back

Blake Griffin in his last five games has averaged 22 points shooting 33% from the field and 26% from three with 7 attempts per game. In his last ten he's averaging 22 points on 38% shooting.

OKC is now 2-7 vs the West and their only wins came against a hobbled Clippers team and the last place Mavs.

It's still just November but when does this become a concern?

When the sample size is bigger. There were some flukey things about a couple of those games. The egregious Minnesota loss comes to mind with Towns getting away with leveling George as Wiggins banks a three to win the game.

Thunder will likely be the beneficiary of calls like that eventually, but you have to let the data even our.

Fair enough, but they also have no notable wins. I'm not sure they've beaten a team with a winning record yet.

All those losses still count in the final tally, especially against western foes. Early season giveaway games tend to come back to bite when 3 or 4 games could mean the difference between the 3rd seed and the 5th seed (2016) or the 5th seed and missing the playoffs altogether (2017).

The way they lose should be a little concerning too, shouldn't it?

I guess for me, as a Thunder fan, this kind of "concern trolling" has been going on for years, and the teams that ever beat them were just better. The issues were always greatly exaggerated and never the reason they lost.

That's not to say they won't have a real problem this time, but I'm skeptical of mid November problems being easily identifiable or irreconcilable based on 8 losses.

Let's talk in February or March.

Lose-lose situation, although I believe walking away is a worse move to make.
