This and the clippers games were two of the most frustrating games of the year. And we won.

I find its because we don't have a go to guy. Was hoping Dion would be that (I love Dion) but he doesn't show up until the 4th. I wish he could play the entire game like the 4th, but I'll take what we are getting from him for now

We miss Mcgruder, he was so solid and so consistent, he needs to come back so he can start. He's the glue guy, and I've found Spo's system needs one. Winslow's aspirations as a player and our hope for him is too high for that role. We need a guy who is all in like Haslem was, and Rodney is that guy. He fills all our holes, and I hope fans appreciate what he means to this team.

Dragic/Jrich
Dion/Ellington
Mcgruder/Winslow
Olynk/JJ
Whiteside/Bam

This is our ideal rotation IMO

Taking Rodney off our team changes our identity

Easier said than done. Would love to see Whiteside next to Wall on the same team. That would be a dangerous combination.

we drool at embiid racking up points and seek to trade whitey any chance we can get. We salivate at the though of D Cousins yet continue to give our big man the least touches in the league. Can we feed Whiteside and let him get his all game for once? Why we ever go away from one of our biggest strengths is beyond me.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

2 of those guys can pass and are much more (understatement) diverse scorers. If Whiteside could just learn to pass out of the post with some variance I would call off the dogs

We're capped and the current highest paid player isn't the best player or one capable of leading a team

Exactly! In fact I'd go farther and say the Heat should be running less offense through Hassan, not more. Here are his shooting stats showing FG% using number of dribbles or time of possession before a shot. http://stats.nba.com/player/202355/shots-dash/

Basically, if he takes even one (or more) dribbles or has the ball for greater than 2 seconds, he becomes a very inefficient player (and the team as well since he never passes). His efficiency comes from PNR's or put backs where other players are setting him up. If Hassan were to convert his game to a role whereby he played more in the Deandre Jordan model of concentrating of defense and rebounding he would have a chance to be a star player. Now, he's pretty good but sometimes it feels like he's a tempestuous child.

Whiteside is our best player but with the way we play Dragic is our most important one. We need elite 3pt shooters around Whiteside to make teams pay for doubling him. As an example Whiteside has the ball in the paint but is doubled yet we have a wide open Winslow who is 1-5, what is the right play here? When we start making more 3s the team will get better. If Dragic goes down with an injury man we are so screwed

Dragic's our most consistent and talented player, he's been our best player since Bosh went down. He's our most important because he's definitively our best player imo Not that Whiteside's bad or trash but he's not a high IQ player or leading any team

What about Porter, he's a great shooter that don't shoots. :noway:
