"Who?" Ball told ESPN when asked about Trump's involvement in the matter. "What was he over there for? Don't tell me nothing. Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out."

Lonzo was raised in chino hills, I actually expect this from him. If you’re not about that life you’re not about that life. He can be the floor leader just not the team leader.

Thats no excuse. You can be born in the suburbs and still have your teammates back. I highly doubt Doug Mcdermott would have done that. You think Curry was born in the hood? dude had a silver spoon his whole life. You basically giving him an excuse that he does not deserve. Dudes in the suburbs can get it on to. Fact of the matter dude is pussy PERIOD. dont got nothing to do where he from. He showed no concern. 99% of NBA players would have at least walked over there even to separate them/show some care.Even Brook Lopez walked over there. He not from the Hood.![]()
Them BBB dudes is NOT from the hood.
A kid stood up to cats from Compton for Lamelo from his team when he was pushed. The proof is in the pudding. I remember watching this in the summer.

Idk I just don’t expect dudes from the suburbs to really jump up & defend they people especially awkward introverts like Lonzo. He probably was raised that if there is a fight happening walk away, don’t get involved.
And you bring up great examples of dudes who aren’t hood and still stood up but everybody’s different.
Lonzo Ball bails on his Lakers teammates during fight[
Lonzo Ball has had a rough start to his NBA career, and it probably isn’t going to get any easier after Friday night.
Ball’s teammates ended up in a skirmish along the sideline near midcourt in a game against the Suns. It was the third time a minor donnybrook broke out in a game between the two teams this season. When the Lakers’ Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Suns’ Tyler Ulis got tangled up, players from both sides rush to their defense.
Ball … did not.
