In the early stages of the game, he was awful. ESPECIALLY on the defensive end. I mean wow...he really has no place on the court in today's modern NBA on the defensive end. It was like Houston was playing us 5 on 4 with him out there.
I just wonder what we could actually get for him though. I don't see any stars getting disgruntled at the deadline (they all already have been traded in this crazy offseason). So, we can't use a load of draft picks plus his expiring to lure a star here. Very unlikely.
I think the only option is to pawn him off to a team that wants to make a run at a free agent this summer and needs cap space. But that means taking on a bad contract which could effect our own 2019 plans AND...what is cap space worth? Maybe a late 1st rounder?
I don't know what game you were watching. That is not what happened. And even so, it was his FIRST game with the team, he's coming back from injury and our guards were throwing the ball at this feet. Thought he played well overall.
I swear to god most posters on this board don't actually watch this team.
Monroe looked light years better than any big we've had since Marcin Gortat.
... Said he after game 1. But after game 2, he was silent. For Alex had 17, 18 and 2 in 26 minutes, for a +19, whereas Greg "Light Years" Monroe had 6, 1 and 1 in 16, for -10.

I'm not singing Alex Len's praises, but if you're going to condemn fellow fans, you should expect condemnation in kind.
