I wouldn't mind them getting Bagley. He has no jumper and only has a 7 foot wingspan. He won't be able to protect the rim and he'll only be able to score inside the arc.

If the Celtics get their hands on Jaren Jackson, Bamba or Ayton, I'll be devastated.

Yeah, Bagley can't shoot and he's clearly a forward, but long guys that can handle the ball like that, have serious upside. His form isn't terrible, so somebody can teach him to shoot. If that guy learns to shoot, he'll be a big problem.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Agreed. Even if he doesn't reach his ceiling, he will still hit the ground running in the Celtics' offense. And Stevens will get the most out of him defensively, even if he doesn't turn out to be a top rim protector or rebounder.

I just think that if Boston is awarded a Top 5 pick, I'd rather they end up with Bagley. Even Doncic, in spite of his apparent low upside, fits their system to a t and would make them better.

Ainge likes floor-stretching bigs. Hard to see him taking Bagley.

They can have Doncic. He isnt anything that will turn a franchise. I get where you are coming from with Bagley. He reminds me a lot of Tim Thomas (without the jumper) but with guys like that, who have tools and size, a good coach could make them into something great.

With big men at that age, all you want to see is that they run the floor gracefully and can catch passes while on the move, both while on the ground and in the air. If they can do those things, while having superior size, that is a rare prospect.

He is really bad at catching on the move actually, displayed some Kwame-esque hands in those sets, he runs fine but you can see that he is all muscle, like he aint graceful like Embiid, or other bigs, not as stiffy as MTurner was, but still, gonna put some strain on his body, he is too jacked.

He's no more jacked than David Robinson. It's not like he's 300 lbs and muscle bound like Yabusele.

His mass isn't even out of control. He's just so lean with so little body fat.

There's not a taxing amount of mass on his frame. It's not like he's Semi Ojele, Justin Anderson or Jarnell Stokes.

The way Ayton looks, is how future monsters look at 19.

Jaren Jackson looks to have excellent lower base muscle mass.

Bamba seems to have the weakest and least promising build.

I saw somebody dunk on Bamba's head last night. He looks like Nerlens Noel physically.

Bamba's skinny jeans......are baggy.

What's to stop him from getting beasted in the post like Nerlens has been at times?

Knowing what I think BC will do I doubt he drafts a center with either first round pick should we be lucky enough to get the Lakers pick. I think he will look for a defensive 2 3 or 4 who can shoot. Right now I think if the draft were today and we got the Lakers pick he would take Jaren Jackson or Mikal Bridges. I’m resigned to the fact that BC won’t draft a first round center even if Ayton is there because he already drafted a center the last draft and also I think he will look at it as only a 4 year window before that player may not sign an extension because he wants to start and that won’t happen with Embiid here. He doesn’t want anymore logjams. If he drafted Ayton or Williams he knows those guys know they should start and may make a big stink if they only play 20 minutes and will bolt the first chance they get.

The 76ers won't have the ability to draft Ayton unless they get the #1 pick, so I'm not really considering that as a realistic possibility. I'm afraid some idiot like Paxon, will take Doncic, and leave Ayton for the Celtics if the Lakers pick conveys.

As for Williams, he's 6'9 and can shoot the ball in the midrange. He can be groomed to play PF, while he plays backup Center to start.

I haven’t seen Ayton play yet, but if he is potentially a dominant big man then he isn’t going to be passed over for a European guard by anyone.
