In the Nets’ 118-107 home victory over the Utah Jazz, Dinwiddie dazzled again with a career-high 25 points. After the game he spoke with reporters, showing support for the injured Russell and analyzing his ability to step in and lead the team for the foreseeable future.

“As a starter and a point guard you try to lead. I didn’t part do anything different because of the surgery. I’d like to think that we won for him because our heart goes out to him as our teammate and as our brother,” said Spencer Dinwiddie of D’Angelo Russell.

When you don’t turn the ball over, then you get more attempts at the rim. So I mean, obviously basic math. If we converted a decent clip then we get more shots and we are in a decent position,” said Dinwiddie.

"We needed a win like this to show that we can put a foot on people's throats,” said DeMarre Carroll. "We've gotta continue to get better. It won't happen overnight, we're gonna have some slippage, but at the end of the day it's my job, Kenny's [Atkinson] job and everybody in this locker rooms job to keep these guys together."

Warriors starting - Curry / Thompson / Casspi / Green / Zaza

I know Kenny must be excited for his small ball experiments tonight

Don't underestimate Curry. He's not on Widdie's level, but in any given game he can blow up. If you look back through his playing career it's actually been surprisingly solid. Not so much recently, but at one point of his career he was good enough to win 2 MVPs. He might even get Spence to break a sweat. Game on!

I dunno, Curry hasn't really shown much outside of those MVP awards and championship rings that says to me that he can even remotely deal with Dinwiddie.

They'll probably put Klay on Dinwiddie and will try to hide Curry on Allen Crabbe. Either way, the Warriors are in for a rough night versus Spencer Dinwiddie.

Yeah, Curry is kind of a liability. GSW will have to play a near-perfect game to have a chance against the Dinwiddie-led Nets.
