Game 17: Pistons (11-5) vs. Cavaliers (9-7) - 7 PM EST

Post#1 » by whitehops » Mon Nov 20, 2017 3:15 pm

this is gonna be a tough game, the cavs have started to turn it on and we're playing on a B2B and it's the third game in four nights. yesterday was a big test to come back against the wolves and this game is going to take the same kind of grit.

also gonna be fun to see if SJ talks any smack to lebron.

props to ducler for the graphic

I wonder if Galloway will get any more run tonight after yesterday's big minutes for everyone else and who he cuts into.

Never know what type of Cavs team is going to show up any given night. Going to be tough when comparing schedule fatigue, but they are starting Jose Calderon so maybe we have a chance

Regardless of the back to back we can still win this game.

Its unfortunate we didn't get to play the Cavs earlier when they were really struggling because they have indeed been much better the last few games and are now riding a 4 game win streak and are rested. We are likely going to be gassed after a hard fought win last night that went right down to the wire.

As long as Stanley doesn't try out scoring Lebron. Please don't shoot! Lol

I feel good about this game. If anything we are deep enough to overcome fatigue.

Reggie and Ish need to be attacking Calderon. They may be more rested, but I'd like to see their old guys try and keep up with Ish's pace.

let LeBron have his, the rest of that roster sucks. I feel a win here as I think we always try to play them hard.

The Cavs are terrible defending the pnr and in transition defense, in fact one of the worst in the league. We should see plenty of Ish pushing up the pace and RJ and Drummond should have a good offensive game. On the other hand the cavs are an offensive juggernaut. They will pull Drummond out of the paint and clear the lane for Lebron. But If we can defend the 3 point line and Stanley can turn lebron (at least partially) into a jump shooter we’ll have a good chance.

korver has been pretty big for the cavs this season, here's a video breaking down how they use him and why it's so effective:

Interesting game tonight. Pistons have learned that home games are important, and they really ball-out in back to backs. Their young legs help in this.

I'm not expecting wins....yet. This is the closest to one all season for me. The Cavs do not matchup well with this Pistons team and get routinely destroyed by the P&R.

Tired but young, and matchup favor detroit. Lets see how it goes.

I'm feeling a 50 point explosion from LeBron coming on.
