But sooner or later, WeHam are going to need to force his hand if he continues to be stubborn.

My wish for this season....

Payton gets healthy.
Simmons starts at SG.
Isaac at SF on offense, PF on defense.
AG at PF on offense, SF on defense.
Speights starts at C.

Gives us the best combination of playing 2 way basketball that we are capable of fielding atm.

Fournier and Vucevic off the bench (still being 25+ mpg players) providing all the scoring punch they want and they can play their passing tango to each other without the concern of others.

So we're exponentially better with Vuc and Fournier on the floor than not... I didn't need a graph to tell me that. Good post though.

Taken from the Spec thread, it's very clear that moving Evan & Vooch to the bench would be a big step back for this team. I agree with working Isaac into the SL at SF and moving Ross to the bench however.

I believe that to be true... but only in the short term.

If our real goal is a championship then I have doubts.

Those stats are misleading. It's not that we are so much better with Vuc on the floor as much as we are god awful with Biyombo at C.

Hey guys, big fan of isaac here. Seems to bethe next magic stud. Any indication when he'll come back from injury? Would he start or is he being brought along slowly?

Not sure but he seems like he’ll be back soon. Just a rolled ankle but he’s so young, no reason to rush. He impacts the game in a big way defensively, not so much offensively although his jumper is better than I thought it’d be. He needs a better handle but he’s also like 7 foot tall so my personal hope is they kinda hone his skills on the perimeter, then he puts on some weight and we’ll have our versatile center of the future.

his offense and also his body/muscular development are good reasons to bring him along slowly.

That defense and blocking was really impressive add in the fact that he seems to be laterally quick and shows a 3pt shot might be one of the unicorn's of the East.

It's kind of a waste starting him, honestly. He's badly needed to support the bench. As long as they're still playing Biyombo, Isaac is most valuable staying as the backup PF and covering for Biz along side of him. He covers so much space when Biz is out of position or whenever Biz is wildly missing a swat attempt.

Idk, If this season is headed where I think its headed then we have nothing to gain by not starting Isaac. Ill give it until 22-25 games to see if things turn around but if they don't we should probably just put him in there and give him the development and experience. He and AG are the only core pieces I can see us moving forward with at this point. Starting Ross or Simmons on a potential lottery team doesn't help us much long term.
