I guess Brad's actually encouraging Smart, Rozier or Ojeleye to take their shots. The only way how to get out of a shooting drought is to continue shooting. If they stop shooting, it hurts our team as the opposite team stops defending them after some time.

Not for nothing but this is why people don't want to take the Celtics serious. Their offense scares nobody and goes on huge droughts because of scrubs like Smart who get five r open threes and brick them all.

Eh, in the regular season, letting the bench get minutes and giving Kyrie rest is probably more important than inflating our point differential against the Mavs.

If Kyrie was over 30 years old I’d understand that rationale, but he’s 25.

Two extra minutes won’t do him in.

And our lead suffers because of this thinking.

I love Brad but icing Kyrie while Smart hoisted up shot after shot was not good coaching.

We could and should be up 15.
