Doesn't look that way today. Looks like both Murray and Mudiay are young stars in the making.

Murray is still wildly inconsistent even though he’s done very well the last three games.

He’s also just 20yo with a higher ceiling than Kyrie

I am not sure about that ceiling , Murray is a streaky perimeter shooter right now, I barely see him driving basketball and going to the paint.

Humph, well, imagine that, a young player that's inconsistent. Some are inconsistent and become consistent; some are inconsistent and never become consistent; and a rare few are consistent when they reach the NBA (happened more when they had to play 4 years of college  ).

Not to make too much of a deal over Murray's inconsistency, but the Nuggets have a center that's got more experience and is still inconsistent.

Well, Kyrie is scoring 25.8ppg in 35.1mpg this year at the age of 25. If you extrapolate Murray's 14.1ppg in 21.1mpg to equate, he'd be scoring just over 23ppg at just 20yo....so in 5yrs he SHOULD be a LOT better than Irving. I do put SOME thought into my speculations.....
