Nah, as Scal likes to say, Kyrie just gives the game what it needs. Tonight it needed buckets.

Daniel Ainge. If you have a different answer you're absolutely **** insane. This combination is **** legacy AF. Danny is life.

You deserve a quote for this, because if Marcus was hitting his career rate everyone would be praising him. The fact is, is that he isn't but he is still bringing the best defense he can and he is a massive positive to us winning.

The only way he gets out of this drought is to let him play and keep him going, I don't care what anyone says he is a winner and you need players like him that do all the little things to help a team win, e.g. Iggy for GSW.

How many years should we wait out this drought?

Spirited comeback, glad they won, amazing performance by Kyrie (and Jaylen, in terms of early -- and a little late -- offense).

I *really* wish Brad would reconsider the lineups, as we were doing great with Baynes starting, and Morris' iso scoring could be exactly what the 2nd unit needs. With the starters, he just takes shots that could go to JT and JB. Also: stagger the starters more. It doesn't have to be line shifts (credit for doing this in the second half).

Also: never
ever
ever
ever
play
Shane Larkin, Terry Rozier, and Marcus Smart at the same time. Why on **** Earth would you do that? Especially to start a fourth quarter when you're down on the road to a team with good length out there and looking to post up mismatches? The Mavs waltzed into the paint, got offensive rebounds, and every loose ball, and our offense of course did squat because those are three PGs shooting 28% between them on the season.

Three times tonight Al caught lobs at the front of the rim, facing the hoop, and kicked them out. Is that a set play? What happened to turn and dunk, big man?

Also a guy named Marcus Smart apparently played tonight but I can't even go there. Him taking the second-most shots on the team is utter madness. Hitting that deep three and saving those two loose balls is too. My **** goodness just stab me in the eyes already.

TLDR: Kyrie is **** amazing bro!

Me, when we cut the lead to 5...

I knew then that Kyrie was gonna take over. It's a weird feeling but I like it. This team is crazy fun.

Funny thing. In the game thread I was saying this was Marcus' worst game of the year easily. At the end of the game you look up and he puts up 12 points, leads the team with 8 assists and tied for 2nd with a +15!! That's ridiculous. And again he was in the middle of the comeback. It's a fu*king joke right now. I've never seen a player like this.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

- Kyrie is amazing. Simply. Amazing.

- Jaylen had a couple mental lapses, but overall really good game. Aggressive and improving his play making ability each game. The shot is looking nice as well. Defense was solid all night.

- What's up with Al? Weird game from him.

- Tatum is really good. Once he puts it all together.. watch out. He needs to not overthink it though and just go up with the shot.

- Ugh Smart. He'll shoot you out of a game and then make hustle plays to bring you back in it. I wish I could merge Smart and Rozier into one player. No point in having both.. Get it done Danny!

- Barea is annoying. So is Matthews. And where was this Barnes 2 years ago when GS needed him in the Finals and he looked like Smart out there. Scrub.

- Horford and Baynes had a few chances to go up strong when they got the ball so deep in the paint, but instead looked like the Warriors with the kick out. Except there no Klay sitting in the corner for the easy assist.

I'm more than willing to eat crow if we either don't resign Smart or Trade him and we see a sharp decline in team wins. I just don't believe it to be the case, and that's okay. I've been wrong before.

Kyrie is amazing.

Love Tatum. Love jaylen.

I'll give Al a pass. He's earned a few this season so far.

Smart is a fine defender, passer and hustle player but I'm ready to move on if he can't shoot the rock better than this.
