Yes because Randle is a RFA. If he was under contract for a few more years rookie scale it's a no brainer.

i would pay him though if he continues to ball out. plus he's only 22. i mean we are running out of options here to pair up KP with a good big man. i've heard randle's defense has been on point too.

You would pay him what?

Because he doesn't deserve anything near the MAX at his scale.

The sooner he and KP can get on the court together and the more minutes Horny can play them together, by mid-year at least, the better.

I just dont see it but i hope your rite.

Randle is playing better, but wont be worth the coin he'd command. Doesn't really fit with what the Knicks are doing either, and I don't see Perry clearing cap just to sign him.

Easy pass. BK might go for it.

yikes. lol @ not wanting a trio of Kyrie/KP/Frank

That would have been impossible. They wanted Frank in the deal, and KP too. Obviously KP wouldn't get traded, but our team would be KP + Kyrie without Frank, and trading away numerous future picks, which means we lose the ability to build around them.

You still don't get it. You were one of the posters that wouldn't have even traded just Willy and one first round pick for Kyrie. It's not about what would've happened, it's about what you in particular would give up. Which is silly

westbrick is at 39.4 % from the field for the season. I had a mvp bet on harden last season and I'm incredibly mad right now.

Not wanting to trade one pick for Kyrie is idiotic and is why everything should be taken by a case by case basis. Kyrie would be the best player of most drafts. He's a top 12-15 player in this league.

Last night he had 22 pts 16 reb and 12 ast. He's trying to adjust and make melo and pg comfortable. It isn't him. Melo defense has been atrocious. They miss all their role players. Kanter, dougie, sabonis, oladipo.

I really don't see Kyrie doing what he is doing on the Knicks. Coach and environment play such a big role. I really doubt Kyrie would buy into defense like he is in Boston.

The Knicks really need to select the right player in next years draft and develop our current players as best as they can. Philly and Boston look like they are going to be ruling the east for the next few years. Ben Simmons and Embiid are living up to expectations and Fultz will be pretty good too once he get's over his injuries. Boston already looking like an ECF team and they may have another top 10 pick on their way.

If you microscope our situation right now. It's resembling the warriors blue print. It's almost similar it's scary.
