i have been saying this for years now.this coach is not a good coach,he knows about the game but he fails to inspire his players to come to play plus rotations suck donkey balls.he has been lucky when wade, cabron and pink panther bosh were here.now we are witnessing what this coach is really made off....NOTHING....pure new age garbage talk and stupid slogans that are empty of any true meaning

but i dont blame him alone, i also blame riley for not thinking ahead and making poor decisions regarding players acquisitions and personnel.also the owner is cheap as hell and wants to win with d-leaguers and scrubs.

One day people will realize that coaching in the NBA is overrated. One day

Coaching is 100% NOT overrated. The Spurs and Mavs beat our ass with lesser talent.

Good coaching makes a difference. So does poor coaching.

Brad Stevens is a legitimately great coach. Hassan would be used correctly under him.

Lets not throw the word "great" around. He's proven to be a very good regular season coach with players that fit what he wants to do. Him and Ainge have worked well together. But there's no telling if he could get any more out of Whiteside.

You mean great coaching, cuz there is significant difference between a good coach like Spo and all time great like Pop.

Mavs beat us not cuz of coaching.

Also Spo was pretty much inexperienced in 2011

Ok, and? Who's next Brad Stevens?

Edit: btw, I'm not sure how you can use Hassan differently with the current roster. Maybe if he could set two good picks in a row it would help him, who knows

Riley was in the stands during the West Coast trip but as far as the home court goes, they have been MIA lately. They're probably upstairs in the booths.

At the start of the season, there was an article claiming the arena had gotten sound system upgrades among other things but I'm not seeing/hearing that. I've been watching other home courts on League Pass & everything from the music, to halftime-timeout entertainment to the dance routines all look better than ours.

For those who question Riley for wanting Gordon Hayward than maintaining the core group last season, you now know why.

All-star players is what makes the team successful.
Cousin for a package of Whiteside...

I don't know why. This is the team that Pat Riley chose. This is what he spent our cap space on. This is the team he signed to long term contracts.

This team is not what Riley wants. He wants Gordon Hayward badly.
After he missed on Hayward, then he has no choice but to bring the core of last season back.

BTW, I remember when the Heat match the offer on Tyler, he said ty Johnson is Mickey Arison favorite. Tyler is a good player, but for that kind of contract, Heat should not have match it. My point is, owners has a say in creating this roster, its not all on Riley.

The Pat Riley I know is the coach who loves super stars.. The players on the Heat are mostly mid level player. Hassan & Dragic is a borderline all-star to mid level players. Trade must come soon. I believe its coming coz Riley is impatient and hates losing.

Why is Whiteside always the scapegoat?

Hes 3rd in defense rpm among centers. Hes getting you 14 boards a game in less than 30 minutes and almost couple blks. What's with the constant complaining and ya'll dislike him so much as if he isn't the most productive player on the team per minute basis :banghead:
We are friggin 6th in defense currently. We were damn near last in defense when he was injured 5 games. The stats are all there.

WE ARE A SIGNIFICANTLY WORSE TEAM DEFENSIVELY WITHOUT HASSAN. Simply because there is no rim protection with him out. You guys saying he an attitude, dude Waiters has one too and dude is trash far more times than not this season! You guys keep campaigning for bam likes ready hes still a project, he should be in the d league.

TJ, Winslow, Waiters, Jrich are the main concerns.

He's just the 1% of the dudes on this board that hates on Whiteside. Don't look into it too much.

Great bait, mate. I rate it 8/8.

Quick question for all of the Whiteside stans here. What is you guys' excuse for your boy not adding ONE SINGLE move to his offensive repertoire the entire time he's been on this team? But you guys just go ahead and keep accusing me of "hating" for pointing out the obvious, that Hassan is a LAZY PLAYER.

The midrange jumper? Free throw efficiency? (almost) 3 pt range?

Well, technically a jumper isn't a "move". Should've been more specific with my question. I was more alluding to low post moves. I mean, he is a center after all. I cringe when he takes long jumpers, tbh. It's like a wasted possession.

Offensive repertoire = any offensive game that leads to points though.

You're drawing straws.

Especially when low post doesn't even exist in this day and age.

What do the bigs in their offense do? Other than Horford, of course.
