I would have felt better about playing Philly tonight. I feared this game. Going into it, I gave us about a 40-45% chance of winning. That's where my mind was at. They should have won it, however. They wasted a BRILLIANT performance by Wilson tonight.
Yeah, Atlanta is just better across the board. Better Line, superior WR's, RB's, a healthier defense. Russ was just able to keep it close. Otherwise, Atlanta should have won by double digits.
Your guys' mindset kills me man.
Wilson literally gave Atlanta 14 points and gave Atlanta confidence. That Seattle had a chance had just as much to do with the defense and that sack by Richardson, which was easily the play of the game for Seattle, as it did with Wilson.
I don't think I've ever seen a fan proclaim that a QB was elite after literally being the reason they lost the game, by digging the team in a hole they never got out of.
Russ didn't have a perfect game. The interception was bad. The fumble was because the Right Tackle (Ifedi) whiffed on that play. But otherwise, he played a great game.
Your hate for Wilson is clearly showing. Without him this team's record is bad. Like 1-9, 2-8 bad. The O-line is awful. They can't block for ****. The team hasn't had a running game all season (Wilson is the leading rusher btw).
The defense couldn't get off the field on 3rd down last night. With the injuries, this defense just isn't good.
Wilson has had to carry the offense all year. He now has to carry the entire team because of how banged up the LOB is.
If he keeps this up & the team still manages to make the playoffs, he belongs in the conversation for MVP. Without a doubt.
