So Mirza just had the same type of injury/surgery. Milwaukee expects Mirza back in 4 weeks. So January return date for D-Lo should be so unrealistic?

I had the same surgery myself like 8 years ago or so. 2 days after the surgery i was back on my feet quite regularly with no assistance. Knee was a bit stiff but not bad. It is actually not really a huge surgery, especially if nothing was fixed or cut. I would be surprised if they keep him out more than a month or if at latest if he doesnt return in january.

I can still imagine them keeping him out for another 2-4 weeks, getting him doing lunges and bike work to make sure the knee recovers to 100% before stepping foot on the court. If he's back before Christmas then I'll do a happy dance.

Good to hear. If it really was just loose bodies then there is probably very little rehab/physical therapy that needs to be done, he probably just needs to heal.

My expectation as well. Nets have been overly cautious with their players health, and after seeing the Fultz situation in Philly where their medical staff **** up their #1 pick, I won't complain about the nets being cautious.

Return to Brooklyn Nets
