Can an opposing team offer a FA a 5 year max via S+T?

I can't imagine how frustrated Paul would get playing with young raw talent that makes boneheaded mistakes. I don't think he'd have the patience at this point in his career. He's too much of a perfectionist. If NY had the cap space he should go there. They need a PG almost as bad as we do but they have a team a little further along and a good complementary star for him.
Or.....he could just say where he is with the best team in the league where he is having a great time.
You've mentioned "Best team" a couple times. Do you honestly think they are better than the Warriors?
Also, Paul has been out almost all season, so the jury is still kind of out as to whether or not they play as well with him.
Better record than the Warriors and thats with Paul missing damn near all season. Yes, i think they are on the Warriors level.

Triano still having a better week than Miller, though.

I know they have a better record. I'll be surprised if they beat the Warriors in the playoffs. I don't know if Paul makes them better or not, given how well they play without him. Early on, they seemed to play more fluidly when he was sitting.

Miller's probably about to have a heart attack. Being a defensive coach, giving up 50 in a half...he can't be happy. What do you think the issue is?

You wouldnt expect it but Cousins has really quick hands defensively.

Jackson can get to the hoop so easily, he really needs to get better at finishing. Hopefully we're not having this same conversation in two years.

But its not just CP3, Dantoni knows how to get the best from his players.
Harden and CP3 both have damn near 30 PER. Thats crazy. Capella, who is a young stud has blossomed more than most people thought.
You have role players like Tucker/Gordon/Ariza/Anderson who are a perfect fit in the System and have been playing great.
Defensive wise, i have them as a better defensive team than the Warriors too.
Im just saying, Houston has the firepower and Dantoni has the plays for them to execute to be successful. They have done great without CP3 and have played even better with him.

KLEON wrote:All this team needs is a elite PG. Imagine if we had a PG with a high basketball I.Q, someone like Troy Daniels would probably win 6th man of the year and Chandler and Monroe would be unstoppable on offense. OH yeah Booker's game would also be on another level
Oh man, no. That's not all we need. We don't have a starting quality PF or PG. Our best outside shooter outside of Booker seems to be a back-up 2-guard. You need a lot more shooters than that to win games. Then there's our defense. Despite having a few decent individual defenders our team defense is nearly the worst in the league.

Someone tell D Rose to come to PHX and let our team doctors bring him back to life

He will hurt himself on purpose playing for this team

No, he's basically just another version of Brandon Knight. Ever since his injury he has been beyond awful.

I don't even know what this line up is for the Pelicans...it's like the washed up lineup. If we can't outscore a lineup of like Jameer Nelson, Tony Allen, Ian Clark and Asik, we are really really bad.

Not to mention that he is having mental problems on top of that. Him being traded to us would mean that we would have to hire on staff to follow him around on a suicidal watch.

Gentry took over which cut his minutes in 2016. But he still had some decline but looked passable as a 20mpg bigman
crohn's disease in the 2017 season and his physical health seriously declined.
