Every Favors screen is blatantly moving, no call! 10 seconds in the key.. nothing! Screw these bull refs!

Giannis gets abused, Kidd with his thumb up his ass. Sometimes you need to get a T
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

That's a furious and frustrated player forcing it without control.
Giannis is clearly mad he can't buy a call the last month or so.

They just let him go to the rim?

Damn Tony showing the whole arsenal. This team has got potential with Tony and Sterling off the bench. If they could add another starting caliber 5 to Henson, someone who could help lower the defense rating that would help a lot. This roster has potential to go ten deep down the road.

Team needs an enforcer type like Zaza.

Giannis doesn't want to become known as a coach killer.

Nah few times have been all ball. Loose carry from Giannis.

Mids is hilariously loose with the dribble, but we make him a primary ball handler in the offense. Genius

Might as well roll out the red carpet to the rim.

no it isn't. Do you even know what motion offense is? 1 guy being a non 3 shooter doesn't matter, especially when he provides absurd spacing by virtue of his paint presence. Giannis spaces the court better than a random 40% spot shooter because of that.

I'm not seeing how his "presence in the paint" provides spacing for motion offense. You mean his post up fadeaways and iso driving layups?

The only person I can name like Giannis is Ben Simmons. And they put him at point guard and surrounded him with 3 point wing gunners, including Embiid and Covington and Redick.
Giannis is playing off ball now after the trade, pick and roll (mixed results), pick and pop (turning down shots).

Could you post an example of the type of motion offense you're talking about.

Giannis' threat to finish in the paint is so high that he attracts multiple defenders to sag into him even when he doesn't have the ball. Think about spacing in the opposite way that you were, where only 3pt shooters were spacing. The problem arises when you park Giannis off ball out on the perimeter like a guard, that's when his lack of shooting gets exposed. The fadeaways and ISO driving aren't great, thats where better coaching is needed to get Giannis better quality shots.

As far as offensive scheme, Giannis should not be used like SImmons is. Giannis does not have the handle or passing for that kind of offense. Using Giannis as a screener off ball (so not just ball screens) where the misdirection and initial action lets him play in space and act more as a play finisher. So you might run a play to get Middleton curling to the hoop, except what you're really looking for is Giannis on the backside of that action when the D is expecting a Midds mid range J or runner.
