Good Bender defense on that KAT face up. Didn't bite on the 2 pump fakes

Dudley should not play...EVER. Love the dude, but he retired a year ago.

Jackson has me concerned.

Chriss played better last year.

Gonna be a long season...

I am not watching the game but from boxscore: Dudley got 3-3-4-2-1 in 10 minutes. I don't think it is bad.

At least they can't justify going cheap and hiring Triano

We are a 10 win team without Booker.

We're a limited team and to expect more is probably just an exercise in disappointment. The fact that a 40 year old Chandler is starting for us, overweight Dudley plays solid minutes and we start a 5'3 PG shows the limitation of our roster. It is what it is

A rebuilding team lineup of Chandler, Dudley, Daniels, James - the future is bright.

On another note, Miami is losing to Chicago at the end of the 1st 13-7. That's right, they scored 7 points in a quarter, against the Bulls.

It’s not terribly surprising or complicated. He can’t shoot, and teams are defending him that way. They go under all screens and play him for the pass. Takes away his passing lanes and makes him do something he’s not good at.

Guys were playing off of him last year too though.

Yeah. Today's lineups have been pretty inexcusable. I get giving Monroe minutes to get something for him if/when moved. Tyson I don't find movable right now and am not sure minutes will change that. Bender or Chriss should be getting those minutes. We ultimately will need 1 of them to play SOME minutes at the 5, even if we do draft someone like Ayton or Bamba or Bagley, and even if we draft elsewhere and get a 5 in FA.

I wonder how much of this is Triano trying to earn a job or McD telling him to showcase certain players.

Indeed. Can't see why Chriss and Bender are not in the game. Also, Ulis is a nice guy and all but you just can't overcome obvious physical deficiencies especially if you're not a lights out shooter. He's just not an NBA player to me.

Yeah I really don't see the point of playing those guys that many minutes. I get James and Daniels since we're short on guards but we have depth in front of Dudley and we have two C's aside from Chandler.

Dissapointing game to say the least. Minny was coasting for most of the game.
Mike James still blows.
Top 5 pick here we come!

We looked better today than in the last game. We shot over 50%. No one played particularly poorly other than Jackson, but he had good effort.

I understand that people want to watch our young players, but they are playing enough (more than 20 mpg) and when they are on the court they SUCK. They are playing poor basket (Chriss, Bender, Jackson and UIis) so if you play them around 34 mpg we could lose every game by 60 points EASILY.

I would love to watch our youngsters to play great basketball, but they are not there yet.
